The Nikon In-Camera Red-Eye Fix system automatically corrects for most instances of the red-eye effect that is commonly caused by the use of a built-in flash on a compact camera. The Face-Priority AF system automatically detects and achieves sharp focus on people's faces wherever they are in the frame for crisp, sharp portraits. - The Coolpix S60 incorporates 17 scene modes that cover some of the more common difficult shooting situations to maximize the image quality. Simply match you current shooting situation with one of the Scene Modes and the camera will make the necessary adjustments automatically. If you can't seem to choose the right mode, the Scene Auto Selector automatically recognizes the scene in your picture and adjusts camera setting.
- Smile Shutter and Blink Warning
- Makes sure you always catch the best possible image when shooting portraits or group shots. The Smile Shutter captures an image at the decisive moment when your subject smiles and the Blink Warning will let you know when your subject's eyes are closed so you can retake your picture.
