The Panasonic VW-BN01 Portable DVD Burner is designed to record video from a camcorder onto a DVD disc. It connects directly to your camcorder via high-speed USB 2.0 and copies your home movies to a DVD disc that can be played in home DVD players. The VW-BN01 can also serve as a DVD/CD player by connecting it to your HDTV or SDTV. It works with the support of the camcorder's output. The VW-BN01 can connect to your PC as well. The USB 2.0 interface lets you copy video that has been edited on your PC, directly to a DVD disc.

- The VW-BN01 can record from camcorders and from your PC via USB 2.0. It records to DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVD+R DL discs. It can record at up to 16x speed and has a buffer capacity of 2MB

- The VW-BN01 can playback DVDs and CDs through your HDTV or SDTV. It works with the support of your camcorder's output
