FilterBank v5 from McDSP is a high-end equalizer plug-in designed to emulate the sounds of vintage and modern equalizers and filters, for use in native based computer systems. The processor consists of three plug-ins.
The E606 is a parametric EQ with high- and low- shelving EQ, and high- and low-pass filters. The P606 is a parametric EQ with variable Q modes, while the F202 delivers steep high- and low-pass filtering with resonant Q control. With its unique Peak, Slope, Dip controls and variable Q modes, FilterBank v5 can emulate any EQ, or be used to create a distinct custom EQ.
Version 5 of the plug-in now includes an Audio Units version for use with DAWs that support the format, including Logic, Digital Performer (DP) and Ableton Live. Additionally, a third party software application that supports the TDM, RTAS, or AudioSuite plug-in standard can also be used.
