The EverFocus EPHD08/4 8-channel HD-CCTV DVR (4 TB) enables you to record real-time videos in H.264 format at a high-resolution of 1920 x 1080 / 1280 x 720 with reduced bandwidth. With the pentaplex operation, the DVR allows simultaneously live, recording, playback, archiving, and remote viewing functions. You can monitor your home or office while on the go from your PDA or smartphone using the MobileView function.

User-friendly GUI with graphical icons and visual indicators make the DVR easy to use. In addition, the DVR offers multiple control inputs to control on-screen PTZ functions such as a front panel keypad, EKB500 keyboard, and IR remote controller. Supporting up to 4 fixed internal HDDs (4 TB) and eSATA external HDDs, the DVR provides an optimum storage space for data backup.

The 8-channel DVR allows you to archive videos instantly to USB while playing back as well as you can point, click, and drag the playback bar to view preferred recording. Additionally, the DVR provides quick identification of motion in the desired field-of-view from recorded videos. The HD-CCTV DVR also supports per channel audio recording and has a built-in DVD burner. It supports scheduled, manual, and event recordings and allows you to search videos by date, time, and event.

In the instance of a power failure, the watchdog function helps in auto recovery. Motion detection function triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display.
