The Lorex LH3261001 EDGE+ 16-Channel H.264 DVR (1 TB HDD), with the Lorex Easy Connect Internet Wizard, lets you connect your system to the Internet quickly and easily to view your security cameras from anywhere in the world at any time. Stream or view live video on a wide range of Internet capable platforms and devices, including PC, Mac, as well as iPhone, Blackberry, and Windows phones. Thanks to the free Lorex DDNS support, you can avail of advanced remote connectivity at all times.
VESA compatibility allows you to mount this unit directly to the back of an LCD monitor or even a wall, saving space and keeping your monitoring workstation uncluttered.
Recording resolutions of 640 x 480 (VGA) means smooth video playback for each camera input with every frame accounted for. A DVI monitor port will let you output high quality video; HDMI output is also supported, but requires an optional DVI to HDMI converter cable. H.264 compression helps reduce video file sizes, allowing for longer recording times without compromising on image quality and network resources. This unit ships with a 1 TB HDD, and is further upgradeable up to 2 TB.
Videos can be recorded in 3 modes –motion detection, scheduled, or continuous recording. Searching for the required video clips is simple. You can locate events without having to slog through hours of recordings with options like time and event search. DVR supports PTZ cameras via the RS485 port.
You can upgrade the DVR to a higher version of firmware by connecting it to the Internet via the USB ports. These ports can also be used for data back-up via a flash drive (maximum of 4 GB), or for connecting a mouse to the DVR.
All DVR functions can be easily accessed using the IR remote controller. IR ’Flex’ technology will let you navigate system controls without having to point the remote control directly at the DVR. For added flexibility, you can also operate the DVR using a mouse or via the front panel controls.
