The RedEye Filter for FP7000 / FP7100 Housing from Fantasea Line is a red color correction filter for the FP7000 and FP7100 Underwater Housings for the Nikon Coolpix P7000 and P7100 digital cameras. It fits directly over the housing lens port or can be installed in the dedicated slot of the BigEye Lens FP7000 #5136 or the EyeDaptor FP7000-F67 #4702 (with any lens accessory mounted on the adaptor), both from Fantasea Line. The filter can be installed and removed during the course of the dive. Since the ocean acts as one large, blue filter, red tones turn into muted shades of blue and grey as you descend further underwater. This filter helps to restore the red color absorbed by the water and allows your camera to produce vivid and colorful underwater images and videos. In shallow depths, this filter can serve as an attractive alternative to artificial light sources.
