The General Electric KTD4052D Controller Keyboard (2-Axis) controls up to 1024 cameras or receivers, 128 switched monitors, and is compatible with all GE Security products including switchers, DVMRes, domes and Digiplex systems. In addition, the controller keyboard allows you to initiate camera tours, select monitors, and select and switch video. The KTD4052D controls SymDec 16 plus 4, SymSafe, SymSafe Pro, DVMRe, multiplexers, matrix switchers, alarm interfaces, Legend and CyberDome PTZ cameras via a RS422/RS485 communication port.
With the 2-axis joystick, the KTD4052D provides enhanced pan/tilt maneuvering in CyberDome applications. In addition, it comes with dedicated recorder operation keys. The KTD4052D operates in either the discrete zone mode or the standard Digiplex mode. The discrete zone mode involves the system being divided into 32 zones with up to 32 cameras in each zone. Multiplexers serve as the switching devices in this mode. In standard Digiplex mode, a matrix switcher is the system’s primary switching device.
A built-in annunciator alerts the user about call-ins and stacks up to 32 call-in requests in the order they were received. The annunciator displays the first three call-in requests, and sounds a reminder tone every 15 seconds until all active call-ins have been cleared from its queue. Confidential access codes can be used to allow only authorized personal to program the KTD4052D keypad and compatible Digiplex components.
