The Pelco Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder (3 TB, Optical Drive) comes preloaded with the DS NVs video management software and is designed to meet the demanding needs of physical security and surveillance applications. This Network Video Recorder delivers a bandwidth of 280 Mbps for recording and viewing up to 128 IP camera streams, and with an optional ENC5416 direct-attached encoder, you can also view feeds from up to 64 analog cameras.
Supporting H.264, MJPEG, and MPEG-4 IP streams, this NVR lets you save on storage space and minimize bandwidth requirements, while ensuring compatibility with other equipment. Powered by a 2nd Generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 3 TB of storage space, the NVR is capable of meeting the demands of high-speed recording without sacrificing on resolution. In addition, this recorder can be installed in a stand-alone configuration or as part of a network of servers.
Using an optional controller card lets you implement RAID 5 configuration as well as hot-swap attached drives for quickly replacing a drive that is full or faulty. Additional storage drives can be connected to the USB ports to further expand its storage space. The front panel LED display, which is integrated with the Digital Sentry System Information utility, allows you to check the operational status of the NVR.
