The AC-1882x 8 Port 6 Gbps SAS/SATA RAID Adapter from PROAVIO is designed for higher speed data transfers and it is backwards compatible with SAS 1.0. The 6 Gbps SAS interface supports both 6 Gbps and 3 Gbps SAS/SATA disk drives for data-intensive applications and 6 Gbps or 3 Gbps SATA drives for low-cost bulk storage of reference data. It is a professional PCIe hardware RAID controller for Mac OS and Windows workstations. It has dual SFF8088 SAS interface ports.
