More Info

The Rear View Safety Inc RVS-MVG400 4-Channel Mobile DVR from SerVision is an ingenious platform for streaming high-quality live or recorded video signals over cellular or Wi-Fi networks. This ruggedized mobile video gateway allows you to record videos from up to 4 cameras at resolutions as high as D1, making it ideal for deployment in buses, trains, police cars, delivery trucks, and emergency response vehicles. By connecting cellular modems or Wi-Fi adapters (not included) to the DVR, you can send high-quality MPEG4 files over the Internet – from any place with a cellular coverage and to almost any location with a high-speed Internet connection.

Storage is made simpler with a removable SATA HDD slot that lets you easily replace the included 160 GB hard drive once it runs out of memory space. The compressed data rates can also be selected depending on your requirements. The Mobile DVR also features various recording modes such as continuous recording for use in stores and malls, motion-triggered recording for saving drive space, or even schedule recording for capturing footage from a specific time. Recorded data is encrypted using AES standards for secure transmissions.

In high-security applications such as for use in cash-in-transit vehicles, the bi-directional audio support in the RVS-MVG400 4-Channel Mobile DVR proves useful in creating an uninterrupted communication channel between the dispatch and the vehicle. A closed circuit monitor can be installed in the vehicle and connected to the DVR, allowing the driver to keep an eye on the inside of the vehicle. Furthermore, you can track your vehicle’s location with the built-in 12-channel GPS module. The DVR can also be configured to send you alerts in the form of SMS or emails on the occurrence of user-defined critical events.

Also included in the package is a Web-based PC application that allows you to remotely monitor feeds from all 4 cameras as well as perform maintenance operations on your DVR.
