The SAC-5 AC Power Adapter from Sigma is compatible with the lithium-ion BP-41 battery for the DP1 and DP2 Merrill cameras. This helps when using your camera for an extended period of time or connecting the camera to a computer. The SAC-5 AC Adapter is used together with the DC-11 DC connector. This DC-11 DC connector is supplied with the SAC-5 AC Adapter.

When using the DP1 or DP 2 Marrill with the AC power adapter, the battery icon on the camera's display will show the 'full' symbol - regardless of the actual power level of the battery. If you begin operating the camera on battery power, unplugged, the display will change back to displaying the actual remaining power level of the battery.
