The black Bataflae 18L Backpack from Gura Gear is a bit smaller than their 26L version but still holds its weight in gear. Store your standard or pro DSLR, medium format or video camera as well as a 300mm f/2.8 lens with hood reversed and lens collar attached or a 70-200mm f/2.8 attached to a body. In addition, there's a dedicated pocket for your 13" laptop, tablet or iPad.
Gura Gear includes their M.O.L.L.E. side strap system that allows you to attach your tripod or monopod in any one of multiple locations. Moreover, quick-hook side straps give you the freedom to attach additional pouches and equipment on the exterior of the pack.
The pack comes with a very useful rain fly that also doubles as a ground cloth for when you're shooting nature or simply need to remove the pack in marginal weather. The handles are all riveted for extra strength and the adjustable shoulder straps are quite comfortable. The zippers are all color-coded, YKK water-repellent and come with pulls that are easy to use when you're wearing gloves.
The front of the pack has two full-length exterior pockets that can be used for ID, tickets, passport or other travel documents. No need to search through the interior for papers you need rapid access to. These pockets are also large enough for a jacket, snack or book. Inside, the divider system is padded and movable giving you the opportunity to arrange and organize your gear as you see fit and need. The interior also has multiple mesh pockets for all small stuff that normally gets lost in the bottom of traditional packs.
The shoulder straps are supplied with extra strong buckles. For construction, the pack is made from a durable combination of nylon and polyurethane. It also includes padded air mesh and an additional nylon lining. Extra features include an exterior water bottle pocket, key fob, expandable exterior mesh pocket, touch fastened strap keepers and lockable main compartment. When the bag is not needed, it comes with a very handy storage bag to protect it from dust and dirt. The pack comes with Gura Gear's 5-year ultimate warranty for the workmanship.
