The white 49.5" x 250' Archival Grade Glassine Translucent Interleaving Roll from Archival Methods features a traditional interleaving material used with prints, etchings, watercolor, drawings, and ink-jet prints (without a gelatin protective layer). This interleaving roll is also used in other applications including interleaving book illustrations, wrapping books, and packaging paintings. The archival grade glassline material is easy to handle. It can be removed with ease to show prints.
Note: The glassine should not be used with photographic negative because the film has a protective gelatin layer. With high humidity and warm temperatures, the gelatin layer may become soft and the smooth surface of the glassine can stick to the negative or print.
Not recommended for black and white, silver gelatin, and traditional color photographic prints.
