The Digidesign Mbox 2 Pro bridges the gap between pro-quality features and portability to complete Digidesign’s line of hardware for Pro Tools LE. Capable of 6 simultaneous inputs and bundled with Pro Tools Ignition Pack production software, the Mbox 2 Pro is a powerful, backpack-friendly interface designed for today’s production on the go.

A number of improvements add spice and versatility to the latest Mbox. The back panel features a pair of RCA inputs with a dedicated phono preamp to simplify the process of capturing vinyl records to your computer. There are six 1/4” outputs, making it capable of 5.1 surround sound mixing. With 24-bit 96kHz resolution and low-latency monitoring, all of the benefits of firewire connectivity are present. Taking things a step further, Digidesign has included BNC Word Clock I/O and MIDI Time Stamping for professionals who demand accuracy. On the front panel you’ll find a pair of headphone jacks with independent volume control, as well as two instrument DI inputs for ease of use. A separate volume control for studio monitors is also easily accessible.

In addition to receiving the ubiquitous Pro Tools LE audio production software, the Mbox 2 Pro also includes the Pro Tools Ignition Pack production software. Featuring a number of inspiring tools such as Ableton Live Lite and Celemony’s Melodyne Essential, a host of inventive applications are included to take your production to the next level. Compatible with the latest Mac and PC platforms, the Mbox 2 Pro and its powerful software are available for work and willing to travel.
