Wolverine Digital Image Converters: Quick and Convenient

Wolverine offers several converters that accept slides, negatives, prints or documents and produce digital copies that are easy to share, can be stored without creating clutter and will be preserved forever. The 20MP F2D Converter takes less than three seconds to scan a 35mm or 110 format frame and create a 20MP JPEG file at the push of a button. Image brightness adjustment is possible without the need for a computer or software and images can be saved to internal memory or to an optional SD/SDHC memory card. Additionally, the converter features a 2.4" color LCD screen as well as a USB port and video-out interface for connection to a computer and TV, respectively (USB cable included; video-out cable sold separately). The F2D can also be used as a USB memory card reader, compatible with both Mac and PC operating systems. A 35mm slide tray and negative tray are supplied, while the 110 film tray must be purchased separately. The converter accepts 110-220V power for worldwide use and comes with a power adapter.

The SNAP14 14MP Digital Image Converter scans not only 35mm slides and negatives, but also prints up to 5 x 7” in size, producing digital images with a resolution of 14 megapixels in less than three seconds. Like the F2D, it is a stand-alone device requiring no computer or software, and saves images to internal memory or optional SD/SDHC cards. Its common ground with the 20MP scanner extends to other features, as well; including the 2.4” color LCD screen and USB port. Additionally, it is equipped with a TV-out interface (cable sold separately). Use the converter as a USB memory card reader for Mac and PC, too. Slide and negative trays are supplied along with photo alignment brackets and a power adapter. The SNAP14 runs on 110-240VAC power for worldwide use.

Also available is the Twin Rollers Handheld Scanner, which digitizes photos and documents at minimum and maximum resolutions of 300 and 600 dpi. Scan time ranges from a mere two seconds for a low-resolution black-and-white image to thirteen seconds for a high-resolution color one. Like the two converters above, this scanner needs no computer or software but accepts an optional microSD/SDHC card and has a USB interface (cable included). It also features an LCD status monitor to display scanning and battery information during use. The Twin Roller is powered by two AA batteries (sold separately) and includes a convenient carrying pouch and a calibration sheet.
