Sony seems to have a thing about constantly trying to improve upon their existing product line, and their successful Alpha line of DSLRs is no exception. The newest Alpha updates are the Alpha a290 and Alpha a390, which, due in great part to feedback from current Alpha owners, feel better in the hand—thanks to improved grip design. As a bonus, both cameras also feature the same 14.2MP CCD formerly found in the Alpha a380.
