Choice is a good thing.  We love the ability to choose what we have for dinner or what cell-phone plan to purchase and, if you work with pro video, what gear and accessories to buy for your camera. So it’s exciting that B&H is now carrying Triad’s line of professional mounts, plates, sunshades and monopods for ENG, HDV and DSLR cameras.  

The pocket video camera market is pretty crowded; legions of companies such as Flip, Kodak and Samsung are vying for your business with their dedicated camcorders, not to mention the many new smartphones boasting 1080p video recording as a feature. Telling camcorders apart can be a challenge, since many of them tout nearly identical features at very similar (and sometimes very different) price points. 

While vinyl has been making a comeback in the past few years, there is no denying that the future of mainstream music is digital (analog lovers, feel free to groan here). Pioneer has released a couple of excellent, DJ friendly CDJ digital multiplayers that allow you to manipulate digital music in much the same way you would work with analog music.
