Interview With Photojournalism Legend David Burnett

David Burnett has been an award-winning photojournalist for more than four decades. He has been named one of the "100 Most-Important People in Photography" by American Photo magazine, and is a founding member of Contact Press Images, the New York-based photojournalism agency.

David was generous enough to answer a few questions about his work and career.

Ramblers Bone: Two Photographers Take a Road Trip Across the Western United States

Ramblers Bone is a project by Michael Kennedy and Sean Sullivan about a 5,600-mile journey into the heart of America. The two are sponsored by Wolverine, a boot-making company. Kennedy and Sullivan are no strangers to the American highways. The two are roaming east into the deserts of New Mexico, then through the Rockies, followed by Montana, and ending on the California coast.

We were able to talk to them a bit about their journey, and about the documentation process.

 

Emiliano Granado: Making It as a Young Photographer

Emiliano Granado is a young photographer who has made the PDN 30, shot various advertising campaigns, and has a wide variety of experience. As a young man who has quickly gained respect in the photo community, he states that he doesn't want to be a photographer—he needs to be a photographer.

We recently caught up with him to talk about how he made it, and the changes that happened in such a short period of time.
