The Canon strobist specialist Syl Arena recently chatted with us in the B&H SuperStore in between his presentations at the B&H Event Space. We talked about photography, his workshops, and what's on his wishlist. Here's our quick interview.

One camera, one lens, and one flash—if you've got these you can create compelling portraits. Some important things you must be familiar with in order to achieve ideal illumination of your subject: bouncing your flash, flash modifiers, F-stops, shutter speeds and ISOs.

Rudy Winston recently gave a presentation at the B&H Event Space on the popular Canon Speedlite Flash system. BHInsights tracked him down and was able to pick his brain a bit more about using the Canon Speedlite system for consumers.
