About me

Charlie MacPherson is an award-winning wildlife and nature photographer, living in Scituate, Massachusetts – midway between Boston and Cape Cod.

He has been behind a camera since 1973, when having picked up his Dad's Argus “brick” camera, he was inspired to buy his first SLR – a Canon TL. With that, his love of photography was born.

While shooting his customary landscape, portrait and architecture work for many years, he has evolved into shooting wildlife and has found a special niche in wild bird photography.

He offers photo-tours as well as small photography classes and workshops with a focus on helping novices and intermediate photographers to improve their skills.
