According to page 365 of the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera's User's Manual concerning the usage of the Nikon EN-EL 18c Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery (10.8V, 2500mAh), for still photography usage in single-frame release mode, one (1) Nikon EN-EL18c battery (used in the Nikon MB-D18) will give you approximately 3,300 shots; for still photography usage in continuous release mode, one (1) Nikon EN-EL18c battery (used in the Nikon MB-D18) will give you approximately 7,700 shots. For movie/video recording usage needs, one (1) Nikon EN-EL18c battery (used in the Nikon MB-D18) will give you approximately 145 minutes of HD footage.

Don’t know if this is THE battery Nikon has for the D6; but, I have a D5 and it will work. Have batteries from a D4, D4s, and now a D5- they all work great.

Thanks, Dan. I was trying to type a longer question, but there was a very small character limit. That IS the charger I'm using. I'm using a 45W USB-C charger with it. I've tried taking it off immediately after seeing the error flashes and reinserting the battery. I've tried leaving it on the charger for an hour at a time with 15 minutes in between off the charger. I've tried just leaving it on the charger overnight. Nothing seems to work. I'm just wondering what the people who were able to get it to charge did to finally get it to start charging when it finally worked for them. Actually... no. I take away my "thanks, Dan" lol. Stop trying to SELL ME MORE STUFF! I've spent nearly 300 dollars on this battery and THAT EXACT charger and plugs and whatnot trying to get it to work with my D500 and grip. This question was specifically asked for people who HAVE gotten their battery to charge. Not someone trying to sell me yet another thing (that I've already bought) from B&H. Sorry, my frustration is getting the better of me. Thanks anyways for your answer.
