The 6-24x50 Viper HS-T Riflescope from Vortex Optics is designed to be a versatile scope for use in the field, on the range, and for tactical operations with medium to long-range targets. All of the scope's glass is made with XD extra-low dispersion glass and are XR antireflective fully multicoated to produce images that are bright and clear, with true color representation without distortion, across the entire field of view. Its large objective lens is ideal for use in low-light conditions such as at dawn and dusk when many game animals are most active. The 30mm main-tube is made from a single piece of aluminum. A matte-black hard anodized finish reduces reflection off the scope body, and resists scratching and corrosion. It's argon-filled for water and fogproof performance in all weather conditions.
Adding to the HS-T's versatility is the modified duplex VMR-1 MOA reticle situated on the second focal plane. This utilitarian reticle has thick outer posts, and thin center hairs with MOA hash-marks on both axes for ranging, hold-over, and shot correction. The lower vertical post is shorter to provide a longer elevation range.
