The Omega ET-500 offers precise exposures over a broad timing range, stays reliable in chemical environments, and yet is affordably priced.

The ET-500 is highly accurate and can control exposures to within 1/10 of a second with consistent repeatability.

It handles the longer times needed for film and paper processing and the shorter times needed for ideal print exposures. And, to assure consistent exposures for multiple prints or enlargements, the timing process automatically resets after each exposure.

The timing process is made even more convenient and precise with two audible tones that not only measure exposure, but can also signal solution changes or help in burning and dodging.

In End-buzzer mode, the ET-500 beeps for one second when exposure is complete. In Count-buzzer mode, it beeps at every one-second interval throughout exposure and once again when exposure ends. The tones can also be turned off for silent operation.
