Overview
  • 1Description

The AVerMedia AverDigi 8-CH Hybrid DVR Card can be used to record 8 analog cameras, 8 IP cameras or any combination of the two up to 8 channels. Most major IP camera brands are supported including cameras with megapixel resolution. This card has 8 video inputs, but can be expanded to 16 channels by adding an additional card.

Video can be captured using H.264 or MPEG4 for efficient data management in the recording and reviewing process. A total of 240 frame rates are available for distribution among the 8 channels. The result is smooth video playback for each camera with every frame accounted for. A built-in HDD size estimation tool can be used to calculate required HDD space based on recording time, frame rates, and resolution settings.

When connected to a network, this DVR can be accessed for viewing, recording, and PTZ control from an Internet PC or compatible cell phone or PDA device.
