Motorola 3360 overview

  • 1Description

The 3360 AT&T DSL Modem from Motorola is designed and created to be an affordable, reliable, and advanced home internet solution. With its variety of security, management, and troubleshooting features, the various interfaces have been made easy-to-use and install--providing an all-in-one approach to broadband connectivity at home.

By combining high-performance with low-cost ownership and maintenance, the router can also help service providers monetize broadband networks while improving efficiency and reducing costs all at the same time. The router includes such advanced features as ADSL2+ support, IPv4 and IPv6 compatibility, as well as access to the modem's functions and protocols via local or remote portals, including a WebUI manager that can be used by your browser to make and save changes.

At just 4.4" long and 3.4" wide this little modem is an ideal mixture of advanced networking, powerful security features, and simple easy-to-use installation that most homes could really benefit from now, and into the future of web connectivity.

The 3360's advanced security options include, full routing capabilities, DoS and firewall protection, as well as remote and local device management--providing access to its features wherever you are
Advanced and Efficient
Its embedded firmware enables the delivery of advanced IP services, with high levels of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction--not to mention low operational and support costs for the service provider as well
The 3360 was designed to support advanced features such as IPv6 / 6RD and ATM / PTM auto-detection, and its unique capability to auto-detect the network type simplifies logistics, as one modem will work on both network transport types
Simplified Input
With that auto-detection of PTM network support for 802.1x, WAN supplicant simplifies authentication of the CPE to the service provider network. This eliminates the need for you to enter in PPP credentials each time, which is great if you don't have them at hand or memorized
