ikan's MR7 7" Director's Monitor features a built-in H.264 recorder, 4GB of internal memory, support for 32GB of SD card memory, 2K resolution support, and numerous other features either new to ikan monitors or highly upgraded with more functionality since previous monitors.

Jam-packed with these features and equipped with a body made of heavy-duty plastic and coated with a rubberized outer layer, the MR7 comes to a total weight of a solid -- not at all hollow -- 2 lbs.

Optional ikan accessories available for the MR7 include a Dragonfly Support Rig with an appealing, sporty look that's a perfect match for the look of the monitor.

7" LCD with 2K Support
  • 1024 x 600 resolution / high brightness of 400 nit
  • Supports 2048 x 1080 2K resolution by 3G SDI input
  • 800:1 contrast displays blacker blacks, thus vivid colors
  • A 1:1 Pixel-to-Pixel feature shows 1/4 of a frame in up to 2K
H.264 Recording at 1280 x 720
  • Records in QuickTime H.264 at the same time the camera records
