CyberpowerPC SLC4400 overview

  • 1Description

The Gamer Supreme SLC4400 Desktop Gaming Computer from CyberpowerPC is a high-performance desktop computer designed to meet the stringent standards of PC gamers. All components are housed in the Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 full-tower gaming case with an 800-watt power supply. Visuals are handled by the nVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card with 2GB of discrete memory, which has DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI ports. It also has a liquid cooling system to keep your computer from overheating.

The system is powered by an eight-core 3.6GHz AMD FX-8150 Zambezi processor. It also has 16GB of DDR3 RAM, a 2TB 7200rpm hard drive, 120GB solid state drive, a Blu-ray Disc player with CD/DVD burning capabilities and 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. A USB gaming keyboard and mouse are included.

Windows 8 is the installed operating system. Windows 8 replaces the traditional Start menu with a redesigned Start screen. The Start screen features tiles that update in real-time, which provide faster access to news, weather forecasts, sports scores, social network updates and more. Windows 8 also focuses more on cloud storage as well as apps, which can be downloaded from the Windows Store. Windows 8 provides a unique user experience.

Eight-Core AMD FX-8150 Zambezi Performance
This CyberpowerPC desktop computer houses the AMD FX-8150 Zambezi processor. The FX-8150 has not four, but eight cores. It has a stock speed of 3.6GHz, but can be overclocked using AMD Turbo Boost technology. Built on the "Bulldozer" architecture, the 32-nanometer die shrink was designed to reduce leakage for improved efficiency, increased clock rate headroom and better thermals
nVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Graphics
This CyberpowerPC desktop computer has an nVIDIA GeForce GTX 600 Ti graphics card with 2GB of discrete memory. Using nVIDIA Kepler GPU architecture, this SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation. In the past, graphics cards would operate at a fixed clock speed when playing PC games even when they had the potential to run faster. Now with GPU Boost, this nVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card can intelligently monitor graphics workload and increases the clock speed whenever possible for added performance. nVIDIA SLI technology allows you to link up to three nVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card together (additional graphics card sold separately) for an immersive PC gaming experience
Included Accessories
This system comes with a USB gaming keyboard and mouse so you can start gaming as soon as you set up your computer (a monitor is sold separately and is required to use this computer)
High Definition Audio
With an integrated sound card, this CyberpowerPC desktop computer supports high-definition 7.1-channel surround sound
Solid Build
This system is housed in a Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 full-tower gaming case and has a 800W power supply

Windows 8

The Redesigned Start Screen
Windows 8 introduces a new Start screen, which has all the information you need in one place. The traditional Windows desktop screen has been replaced with a more tablet style design featuring tiles. These tiles are customizable to your liking as well as update in real time. News, weather forecasts, sports, contacts, apps and more are available for you to use. It's all right there on the Start screen. If you prefer the traditional Start screen of Windows 7, you have the option to switch to it
To the Cloud
With Windows 8, when signed in using your Microsoft account, you'll have instant access to your personal Start screen, themes, language preferences, browsing history and browser favorites. You can also connect to services such as Microsoft Outlook, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and more
Windows Store
In the Windows Store you can search for or browse thousands of apps. Choose from the featured apps or grab one of the most frequently downloaded apps to see what all the hype is all about. You can also see how other people rate apps. For certain apps, you can try it out before you buy it so you can make sure you absolutely want an app before you spend your hard-earned money on it
