The Core i7-3970X 3.5 GHz Processor Extreme Edition from Intel is a 3.5 GHz 64-bit third generation 6-core processor complete with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 allowing it to be overclocked to 4 GHz when additional processing power is needed. Along with enhanced processing power, this Core i7 processor comes equipped with 15MB of Intel Smart Cache and a 5 GT/s digital media interface. Connect a variety of peripherals to a PC equipped with this Core i7 processor as it supports PCI Express Revision 2.0 with 40 PCI Express Lanes.
