The Sony STR-DH740 7.2-Channel 4K A/V Receiver features 7.0 amplified channels and two subwoofer outputs as well. It supports 1015W of total power output and it uses advanced 96 kHz / 24-bit DAC. It's equipped with Dolby and DTS high-definition surround sound decoding, as well as 10 digit dot matrix display with an on-screen graphical user interface. The receiver features four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output that support 4K and 3D pass-through, Audio Return Channel (ARC), Deep Color (36-bit) and x.v. Color. Plus, there is a standby pass-through mode and an AM/FM tuner with 30 station presets for AM and 30 for FM.
The receiver also features multiple analog audio and video inputs, a coaxial audio input and dual optical audio inputs. There is a front panel USB port as well, which you can use to connect your iPod, iPhone, iPad or USB drive. The USB port supports direct digital connection and it will even charge your device.
