Illumination is provided by the 30-LED flash, and the Illumi-Night sensor and Motion Freeze image stabilization feature helps produce better low-light images. The camera possesses a range of up to 60' at night. It's capable of time-lapse photography and can capture up to 10 images in a sequence in multi-shot mode.
Additionally, the D-555i is equipped with a 2" TFT LCD viewing screen for image playback and menu navigation. The camera records files to an SD or SDHC memory card up to 32GB in capacity and runs on six C-cell alkaline batteries (not included).
At the heart of the camera is a CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 8MP

Illumination provided by the 30-LED flash. Illumi-Night sensor and Motion Freeze image stabilization feature help produce better low-light images. Range of up to 60' at night
The camera captures a series of images at a specified interval, allowing you to create a time-lapse video via the PlotStalker software. Choose from the following intervals: 10 or 30 sec; 1, 5, 10, 15 or 30 min; 1, 3 or 6 hr; or 1 day
The camera operates in time lapse mode during the programmed intervals and motion detect mode for the remainder of the day

Date, Time, Temperature, Barometric Pressure Stamp
The camera records the date and time of capture on your images, as well as the temperature at that time
Moon Phase Stamp
The camera stores moon phase data on its internal memory chip. By recording the phase of the moon at the time of capture on your photo, it allows you to see which animals are inactive during a full or nearly-full moon--when the brighter lighting conditions will make them more visible to predators. Moon phase also helps you determine if brighter or darker backgrounds in your images are due to the fullness of the moon
