Even though most DJs are secured in their own private space, gigs can be quite rough on gear. This case is made from durable 9mm plywood and contains strong spring action recessed handles. The top is removable and fits back on with a secure tongue and groove connection. The entire system is complimented by exceptionally strong ball corners which add rigidity to the case and protect it from bumps and abrasions while in transit. Dual anchor rivets are found on all sides and near the ball corners for added reinforcement.
There is a useful fold-out laptop shelf which will come in handy when you need to access play lists, emails and other relevant information during your gig. The latches are also heavy-duty and the entire case is supported on rubber feet that guard against incidental bruising when the case is placed on the ground. Low profile wheels complete this shippable case and make toting it around airports, parking lots and ramps a breeze. The case comes with all necessary mounting hardware to mount your CD players and mixers to make your system efficient and ergonomically workable.

There is a Glide Style laptop platform to view a computer placed over the controller. In that way, you'll always have quick access to your playlists, correspondence and files. You'll also have plenty of cable management room underneath the player so no need to worry about wires getting tangled or people tripping over them. The removable lid doubles as a handy elevated base for those lower tables or taller DJs. The case has chrome-plated butterfly latches and recessed, spring-loaded handles. It also has heavy-duty reinforced ball corners that protect against incidental contact and abrasions as well as strong aluminum edging. It meets ATA 300 specifications for shipping cases.

"Great case...Still a great product though....While effective, a second handle would be nice; With a few pieces of gear mounted inside, the empty weight of 24 pounds quickly gets up to 40+, which can get strenuous on one arm if you have to walk a distance....This is a great case; well built, solid, attractive, and perfectly slim for a compact system."See more

"Great !...It's OK...yes I tried it :) Great case :) space for a big dslr one flash and 2 lenses , battery and memory card so I advise it if you wanna travel by plane and dont wanna leave your gear in the luggage area...Not only do I not have to worry about my camera getting ruined from weather or anything getting spilled on it, but because I am going to be a wedding photographer I don't have to worry about it getting knocked around; I also can lock it so there is no worry about getting it stolen."See more

"Love It...5 Stars...But I love that the batteries settle into the grooves and that I don't hear the batteries sliding around as I did with the previous cases I had....I have another 8-battery storage case that has dividers between each battery such that I can hold the case at almost a 90 degree angle when opening and nothing moves/falls out."See more

This case has 3-piece foam set interior.
"Love IT...Love it!...The case is insanely solid, the latches are well built, and I sank it in my bathtub for a few minutes to test for leaking and it was dry as a bone in there....I got it to house my Canon 60D with a lens, but when I put it in with the top and bottom layer of foam it was too tall, so now I have to disassemble it (take the lens off and lay the camera down) not quite what I wanted it to do but ohh well."See more
