"Love it....good buy...I found that the hot shoe is a little tight then after you finess it in, it is a wee loose.Other than that,it works perfect.Everything tightens up fine but some of the knobs are a little small.I'd give it a 4 out of 1-5....I do a large number of location video interviews for news online and the included shoe mount bracket fits my LED light perfectly...which I use when I need a little extra light for a location sit down interview."See more

All Stroboframe Quick Flip Flash brackets have a pivoting flash arm that keeps the flash over the lens in both horizontal and vertical positions. They have a comfortable foam grip and a tripod mountable base. They allow the user to shoot and advance film as if no bracket were attached.
Net Weight: 10 oz., Bracket Height: 9.5", Lens-to-Flash Distance: 12"
"Nice grip...Great buy...I replaced the cold shoe with a mini ball mount and used a new cold shoe (the one that comes with the bracket has a lock pin on the bottom that fits in a small hole on the bracket keeping it from sitting flat on another surface) with high strength thread locker....Bracket works great...only problem is that the flage where the turn screw attaches the flash to the bracket gets in the way so as to not completly tighten down if your using a turnscrew with a larger turnscrew"See more

"Love it...Love it....I use my hot shoe as a still guy, it has a very important job to do and I don't like loading it up with leveraged weight....It certainly does the trick - the mic sits up just high enough on the lower bracket to clear the frame, the offset position doesn't unbalance the camera significantly and the bracket is so light it doesn't add much weight to the combination at all."See more

The Camera Flip bracket accepts Stroboframe anti-twist camera plates for a reliably sure, rigid connection. Please see this link
Net Weight: 15.4 oz., Bracket Height: 9.5", Lens-to-Flash Distance: 12"
"a WOW...Great Flip...I'm sure if I bought a bracket that was a little more expensive I wouldn't have the problem, but just handle it with a little care and it's not a big deal....Bracket does impede access to battery door but, a few turns of the screw, tilt camera sideways a bit, open battery door and insert fresh battery, re-tighten screw and away I go."See more

Five mounting holes on the camera platform allow for almost any camera to utilize the bracket. Choose the hole that best balances your camera and tighten it in place with the mounting knob. Attach the flash unit to the bracket's accessory shoe by loosening the red knob, inserting the flash into the accessory shoe and tightening. Connect your flash cable to the flash unit and wrap it around or secure it to the bracket arm and you are ready to shoot.
The flash arm rotates 180º with a smooth and easy flip for when you need to shoot vertical. The padded grip is a comfortable way to stabilize your camera when shooting and is strong enough to be used as a handle for the entire system when not shooting.
The accessory shoe can be positioned in one of two locations or unscrewed and removed to accommodate the Nikon SC-28 and SC-29 or other off-camera shoe cords.
"Good Buy...Works fine...it very ease to use for off the shoe shoot quick to setup and has a adjust bar to make room for and battery grip Thou it use the 600 speed light flash thou only on the straight position and 45 degree angle the straight 90 degree wouldn't hold a heavy flash best use a light one...to me it was well worth the effort to make an awesome flash bracket now 5 bottom line, I trust my own engineering in Metal fabrication and the OEM knob failed my QC test * replace shaft or a $ lens or camera body, you choose"See more

The cold shoe can be positioned in multiple locations or removed altogether, to better accommodate Nikon SC-28 & SC-29 and other similar off-camera shoe cords.
"It's ok...LOVE IT...If you need a flash bracket on a daily basis, I'd recommend buying a much better one....I haven't used this in a wedding yet but if you are looking to get the light off the camera without a lighting assistant, this is a great answer."See more

"Love it!...Thank you...Great for holding a light or a microphone when using a camcorder without a hot shoe...It is more comfortable to hold than it looks (although if you are doing serious professional work with a heavy camera and peripherals, a larger, more ergonomic grip would be a better choice)."See more

"Love It!...Great !!!...I use the bracket when shooting events, weddings, etc. the bracket is slightly large for my liking particularly when I attached the Speedlite YN600EX-RT it wobbles at the top, I feel the side handle is too far apart from the camera so it makes it a bit unstable but overall its a good product, I gave it 5 stars....It will still be a bit unwieldy but it will be better than the previous bracket as I believe the flash arm will stay in position better...the previous bracket would always open up into sort of the portrait position and the flash would be hanging way down low to my side when I connected to the BR harness."See more

"Love it!...Love it!!...Called the good people at B and H for advice on a solid, rotating flash bracket and they recommended this one...Great advice, Great bracket....By bumping it up to a bar that is adjustable you avoid having to crank down the screw holding it onto the bracket to prevent it from swiveling."See more

"Very happy...I love it....the problem I have with it is I own two canon 600 ex-rt flashes which are pretty heavy, they have a weather proof boot which makes it a little tough to seat it in all the way that is ok ....Much better built and will hold a s Speedlite and umbrella of various sizes very well."See more

Flash brackets are designed to increase the distance between the flash head and the lens in order to minimize the occurrence of redeye and to also reduce flash-shadows behind the subject.
By using an "L" shaped bracket the flash is slightly off-center, which also adds a little more dimension to the face in portrait photography.
"I Like It...Works fine...This is a very solid all metal bracket with a comfortable grip....Overall, this is a very effective little bracket and I look forward to using it even more in the future."See more

"I like...Good buy...About the question of flipping the arm, the arm hinge does have a good spring that settles the arm firmly into either position, but unless the arm is latched down (with a latch causing its own set of problems), there will always a tipping point....I can even put it in my shoulder camera bag with the camera body (with battery grip and a short lens plus a transmitter) on it."See more
