The compact and highly portable C90 Mak Spotting Scope from Celestron is a powerful spotting scope with a Maksutov-Cassegrain optical path, a 32mm eyepiece, and an erect-image 45° diagonal that also corrects the view laterally. Because the finderscope and the diagonal both provide corrected images, the C90 is an excellent choice for terrestrial as well as astronomy viewing.

The 32mm Plossl eyepiece provides the user with a remarkable 39x magnification. Higher levels of magnification and wider fields of view can be experienced by substituting the included eyepiece with an appropriate 1.25" astronomy ocular.

The C90 comes with an erect image 8x21 finderscope that provides a wider field of view to aid the viewer in locating subjects and targets easily. The finderscope mounts conveniently to the side of the C90's optical tube assembly and removes easily for storage and transport.

The entire system is tripod adaptable—the C90 is equipped with a standard threaded tripod mount that's stable and secure. The rear of the C90 features built-in T-mount threads for mounting an SLR camera, using a user-supplied camera-specific T-ring, for astrophotography or digiscoping applications.

The angled-viewing Regal M2 100ED Spotting Scope from Celestron combines a high-transmission optical path with a nitrogen-filled magnesium-alloy housing to deliver reliable imaging performance at low light and in unforgiving weather conditions. At the core of the Regal M2 are fully multi-coated optics, including BAK4 prisms and an extra-low dispersion (ED) glass objective that minimizes chromatic aberration and maximizes light gathering. Multiple layers of Celestron's proprietary XLT coating on each lens preserve brightness and transmit contrast-rich images to the eyepiece.

This version of the Regal M2 spotting scope includes a 22-67x eyepiece that is ideal for intermediate- to long-range glassing. The broad magnification range, comfortable 20mm eye relief, and twist-up rubber eyecup make this zoom eyepiece well suited for long-duration observations. The scope's standard 1.25" eyepiece mount will accept most astronomy eyepieces, which enables a near-infinite number of optical configurations.

Complementing the image quality and weather-sealed construction of the Regal M2, several features enhance the scope's functionality and observer's user experience. An included T-adapter ring permits DSLR camera mounting to the objective assembly, transforming the 100ED into a high-transmission digiscoping platform. The rotating tripod collar has a 1/4"-20 mounting socket and is detented at multiple positions to provide the observer with alternate viewing orientations. A sliding sunshade, sighting aid, and dual-focus mechanism equip the Regal M2 with the functionality needed for a wide range of outdoor glassing applications.

Celestron manufactures the Ultima line of Prismatic Spotting Scopes in 65mm, 80mm, and 100mm varietals to suit your needs. All the Ultima line are mated to an eyepiece and render views that are both rightside up and laterally correct to the world, making them good for both terrestrial and celestial observing. All Ultimas are waterproof, making them more robust than ever before. Celestron surely is delivering exceptional value.

The Ultimas now offer the choice between 45° angled viewing or straight-through viewing as you prefer. Most users will prefer angled scopes because they are both simple to use for birds perched high above the viewer as well as easily simultaneously shared among users of differing heights. But some will prefer the straight-viewing models, for these are much easier to use when hunting down the object of interest in the first place. Straight-viewing models are also usually a bit lighter, brighter, and less expensive. The choice is yours.

The Ultima 100 is among a handful of spotting scopes with an enormous objective lens diameter of 4", and as such is a large and weighty scope at that. But from dawn to dusk, and everything in between, you'll constantly be reminded of that objective lens size as everything you'll see will be that much brighter in the viewfinder.

Certain Celestron products include their wonderful "No Fault" warranty coverage, which assures that your binoculars will be repaired or replaced at Celestron's option for as long as you own them—no questions asked. The only requirements on the user's end are to ship the scope (at the user's cost) to Celestron with a proof of purchase and a check or money order for $25 to cover the costs of inspection, shipping, and handling. This warranty service is valid only for USA and Candadian citizens purchasing from an authorized Celestron dealer.

"Thank you...Solid buy...Celestron C70 Mini Mak Spotting Scope...But the deciding factor for me was the Eye Relief parameter (the optimal distance from the eye to the eye piece) that is much better on Celestron, which gives a full field view with the eye positioned a good couple of inches away from the eye piece, unlike Tasco that requires you to pretty much jam your eye right against the eye piece."

The 45° angled-viewing TrailSeeker 65 16-48x65 Spotting Scope by Celestron features a versatile 16-48x zoom eyepiece to provide views from generous vistas at the lower power to tight, detailed images at the higher end. Proprietary anti-reflection XLT fully multi-coated optics allow for efficient light transmission through the optical path for crisp, high-contrast views. Dual focus offers precise image control by allowing a preliminary coarse focus, which you can then refine using the fine-focus control for a tack-sharp view.

The angled eyepiece permits comfortable glassing whether standing, sitting or lying flat on the ground. You can rotate the scope in its tripod collar a full 360° to put the eyepiece in the best position. The TrailSeeker 65 has a nitrogen-filled waterproof housing that won't fog up in humid conditions and features a sliding sunshade to keep glare or raindrops off the objective lens. To facilitate digiscoping, a T-adapter is included so you can mount a T-ring compatible with your DSLR to the eyepiece. For adverse weather conditions, a stay-on carrying case is included, which can be left on the scope during use—zippers fore and aft open for the objective lens and the eyepiece. The TrailSeeker is designed to use standard 1.25" astronomical eyepieces, so in addition to the included zoom eyepiece, you can use other eyepieces on your spotting scope to achieve higher magnifications, wider field of views, etc.

"Good purchase!...100% recommended....I have been familiar with Celestron for 45 years as a friend had an old Celestron reflector telescope when we were in middle and high school....I do not have a very good tripod (yet) so some of the difficulty we had positioning was due to that and also vibration from the breeze was a bit noticeable but not a deterrent to the viewing."

The Celestron C5 127mm f/10 50x Spotting Scope is the ideal choice for the serious bird-watcher, nature lover, amateur astronomer, or anyone who enjoys beautiful views, either from home or in the field. With its generous 5" aperture, the C5 Spotter will easily outperform smaller-aperture spotting scopes. This is a versatile optical tool with a minimum close-focus range of 20' to make it ideal for observing plant life, wildlife, birds, or insects, and since it accepts any 1.25" eyepiece the C5 can also be used as an astronomical telescope. The scope can easily be transformed from a powerful spotting scope to a high-performance 1250mm f/10 telephoto lens with the use of the optional T-adapter and camera-specific T-ring. Celestron offers the C5 here without a tripod, but includes a 1/4"-20 mounting block so it can easily be attached to many photo, video, and field tripods with a payload capacity of at least 6 pounds. The block has multiple holes along its length for proper placement to achieve the optimum balance.

The 1.25" barrel Skyris 132C Color CCD Eyepiece Camera from Celestron is a digital imaging system that allows you to capture 1280x960 resolution astronomical images in as fast as 0.0001 of a second. Using the Aptina AR0132AT Color CMOS sensor and connecting to a computer via USB 3.0, images download at up to 200 frames per second. The camera is also backward compatible with USB 2.0, but download speeds will be slower. The fast download speed of USB 3.0 allows you to gather more images in less time. This is ideal if the weather and atmospheric conditions are fluctuating and you have limited time for imaging. An 1.25" nosepiece screws onto the camera to easily mount into focusers. It can also be attached to a camera adapter with C-threads, usually requiring a T-to-C adapter. Whether you're looking at the Moon, Mars, or the rings of Saturn, the SKYRIS 132C takes your view of the sky and makes it available for everyone to see.

The included iCap software for Windows lets you control the camera, snap pictures or create a movie, and export your files. A stacking program called RegiStax lets you set parameters and automatically filter the best images and stack them to create the perfect composite celestial picture.

The integrated tripod mounting collar rotates, providing the observer with alternate viewing orientations to suit their use.  This configuration of the LandScout has a generously sized non-slip rubber focus ring and a 10-foot close-focusing distance that makes the 10-30x50 spotting scope well equipped for birding and other outdoor activities.

"Great range scope...Well worth the price...The focus adjustment is a little touchy, but no worse than I expected on a spotting scope in this price range....I consider it a good value and would recommend it for anyone needing a short range, compact spotting scope."

The NexImage Burst Color CCD Eyepiece Camera from Celestron is a color astroimager designed to capture images of the Sun, Moon, and planets with our solar system. It's compatible with any computerized telescope or a non-computerized telescope with a tracking motor drive. Use the 1.25" nosepiece to quickly swap the NexImage with an eyepiece, or directly connect it to a C-mount back.

A Aptina AR0132AT color CMOS sensor captures 1280 x 960 resolution images with exposure speeds from 1 second to as fast as 0.0001 of second. Using a color imager lets you capture full-color images across the entire visual spectrum without having to attach or change filters. The included Registax software analyzes each frame of video, throws away the ones affected by atmospheric turbulence, and perfectly aligns the best frames. With the ability to tweak settings such as the gamma, sharpness, RGB balance, and color mixing, the resulting image is bright, clear, and focused.

"worth $200...I have extensive microscopic photography experiences and find iCap quite intuitive and easy to use....The most amazing function is that the software and camera can help doing some extra micro-focusing to make video sharper....I haven't fully explored the customizing function of RegiStax yet, but the planet pictures generated by default process generally beats the picture taken by DSLR camera (I have Nikon D3100) in terms of the resolution."
