The backpack has a Hideaway Tripod Holder that secures a tripod or monopod to the backpack, a built-in All Weather Cover, and Hypalon attachment loops for SlipLock compatible products. It is carried by a carry handle, contoured backpack straps with back pad for added comfort and to wick away moisture, and a mesh covered padded waist belt.
"Love it...It's OK...I could see myself using this to transport gear on a long hike, but it's certainly not made for rapid access to gear like a waist pack is (where I could whip out my camera, with lens hood attached, at a moment's notice)....This bag fit my canon 6D with 400mm attached, with lots of room for all the extras, and I love that I can leave it on with the waist belt and swing in around to access the main compartment The only thing I find annoying is that the main compartment zippers could have zipped down a little farther or a crease in the flap would have been great"See more

The SLRC-206 has a computer compartment that is compatible with a 16" laptop PC and a 17" MacBook Pro notebook computer. The pack has 4 accessory pockets that allow fast access to memory cards and other small items. An industrial strength hook and loop straps on the side of the backpack can hold a tripod. The pack is carried by a handle or backpack harness straps. There is an Innovative strap management system that eliminates messy, hanging straps.
"Love it....Love It!...The differences are: the Lowepro has a front big zip pocket can store stuff but not big enough to store a mac; the Case Logic has a Notebook area on the back that can also store stuff if you don't want to put a NB in it....Here is what I take: Canon 20d, Canon 28-70mm, 50mm, 70-200mm, 3 CF cards, CF card reader, 15 Dell laptop, AC power cord, trackball, universal power adapter, large Kodak DX-7440 point and shoot, battery charger for both cameras, misc AV cords, 3 extra filters, two extra lens caps, few other misc items, and I still have room to squeeze a couple more things (I am well traveled so I can get creative)."See more

"Love it...Good bag...I can shove a decent amount of gear in this bag - a Nikon D200 body, a couple large lens, a couple small lens (one in a soft case sitting on top of another lens), a flash head, a Gary Fong lightsphere, and assorted cleaning supplies and spare batteries....I used this bag during a trip to Safari in Africa , I found it comfortable backpack , it fit with Canon EOS 5D MIII attached with EF 70-200 mm F/2.8 L IS & EF 100-400 mm F/4.5-6.3 L IS , & some Accessaries , except the speed light , it attached with backpack ."See more

"LOVE IT...Nice bag...I absolutely love this backpack but I was a little upset when I went to use it in the rain and the rain cover ripped in two places on the elastic edge but it still seems to stay in place so overall this backpack is fabulous it holds my camera along with 3 lenses and various other accessories...Great Camera Backpack, actually the best I have purchased for a small backpack, great construction, I had fit a DSLR with 2 medium size zoom lens, 2 flash units, filters, batteries, SD cards, a gray card and still have space for a few small items or papers."See more

"Love it...Love it....- I use this as my main bag to carry every pro gear - The most customizable backpack I own and I own a LOT of camera bags - I think my only gripe is the Molle webbing should be spaced to that a useful part isn't in the corner rendering less molle slots to be used on a useable surface....Now the bad news: I bought the ProTactic 450 because it is the only bag I could find that allows me to follow rules of major US airlines for safely taking a Canon EF 500mm f4/L IS II lens, + a DSLR camera, + a laptop as airplane cabin baggage."See more

For the small stuff, inside the front lid you'll find two zippered accessory pockets for cables, filters, cleaning cloths or any other small items you might need. There is a small front zippered compartment for quick access to snacks, ID, cash or keys. No need to delve inside the depths of the bag to grab them. For those long days in the field, there's a mesh water bottle pocket on the side. Located on the lower back of the pack is a zippered pocket for safely storing valuables such as your wallet and passport. The nylon exterior is enhanced by a padded front panel that is bolstered to protect your gear from incidental impact.
The backpack straps are adjustable and supported by a sternum strap for added stability while walking. A top carry handle is for quickly retrieving the pack from the trunk of your car or out of a closet. This very practical pack is backed by Case Logic's 25-year warranty.
"Love it...Good buy...For many years, I have been looking for a camera bag that fit the following needs, and have not been able to find one until now: - padded compartments to fit a Canon 5D or 7D size SLR with 24-105mm lens, a 70-200 zoom, large flash, 50mm lens, and other misc items - rear pocket to fit a 14-inch laptop - ability to fit an iPad - be small enough to easily carry around - not cost an arm and a leg The DCB-309 satisfied all those needs....I had not had a microphone so good for my work as a documentalist, I would buy again, it is even very useful and efficient recording the sound using a stick for microphone, highly recommended."See more

"Love it...Good bag...I like this bag quite a bit but one thing I rely on Timbuk2 bags always having is a key leash and if there is one on this bag I can't locate it....I only have two real complaints: The mesh fabric on the back wears out quickly (took less than a year on mine) and it could really use a few more internal pockets for organization."See more

"love it...nice bag...I will say that this might not be the most comfortable back pack there is, but it holds a good amount of gear and at a great price....As said in the headline: I love this spacious backpack - it almost seems like a TARDIS, bigger on the inside - it fits my Canon 60D with an attached battery grip, attached zoom lens, and has pockets for at least five more lenses + a flash or just six lenses."See more

When worn as a traditional backpack, it carries more than its weight in equipment including a 17" (43.2cm) laptop. When worn as a shoulder bag, you have rapid access to your gear through the zippered lower half of the bag. When used as either a left or right sided sling-style bag, the quick access zippered side pockets (on either side) give you even faster access to your equipment. An additional mesh storage pocket is supplied for small accessories.
The bag is essentially divided in half with the top being used for personals and smaller items in their own foam-padded compartment. The lower half is the main compartment where your gear is safely stored within additional foam-padded, adjustable dividers. There's an additional zippered mesh accessory compartment for batteries, media cards, cleaning cloths, pens or even business cards.
Carrying a tripod is no problem since the bag comes with connecting straps on the back that will hold your pod securely. This is a relatively lightweight pack that is functional, durable and flexible for the shooter who likes to be outside and constantly on the move. It's carried by two wide, padded and adjustable shoulder straps that are supported by an adjustable chest strap that helps keep the pack steady and centered on your back. The waist belt is also adjustable and helps prevent the pack from swaying while hiking or climbing. There's a comfortable back pad and easily removable and deployable rain cover for when the weather turns sour. Finally, if you're just trying to get the pack out of your car trunk, Vivitar has added a strong top carry handle.
"Love it...Good bag...Its has all the same features as in a 17inch laptop compartment and also a lower section to put a DSLR plus 3-4 lenses, plus a tripod holder to attach your tripod, Ive got a 701hdv on 190cx sticks and it fits great, it has a built in foot harness to support the bottom of the tripod in the middle of the bag centering the weight....The rain cover is a huge plus since I do adventure photography and videography, and it is not bad on a hike, although I wouldn't choose this for a long trip."See more
