The T-26001C VisionScope 2 7-45x Stereo Zoom Microscope from Ken-a-Vision is a cordless stereoscopic zoom microscope designed for elementary and middle school students. The two eyepiece configuration is preferred by most researchers and students because of the superior depth of field and comfort compared to monocular microscopes. This model of the VisionScope 2 has a paired 10x eyepiece delivering a 7-45x continuous magnification range. The achromatic objective system is parfocalled throughout the zoom range, keeping the specimen in focus while zooming in or out.

This VisionScope series microscope is configured with top and bottom LED illumination. Each light source has variable intensity controlled by base-mounted rheostat dimmer. The energy-efficient LED light sources operate at a cool temperature and prolong the life of the built-in rechargeable battery pack. On a full-charge, this microscope can provide up to 40 hours of continuous operation before needing to be charged. The built-in rechargeable battery and dual light sources provide the portability and functionality needed for field use.

A user-friendly design complements the range of features that make the VisionScope 2 microscope a welcome addition to labs and classrooms. The viewing head is capable of 360° rotation to help share the stereo eyepiece among colleagues and students without moving the microscope. The rack and pinion system has dual focus dials and includes tension adjustment and rack stop mechanisms that prevent damaging the specimen and objective. The adjustable interpupillary distance and and individually adjustable diopter correction also provide the VisionScope 2 series with the flexibility needed to create a customized viewing experience.

The 210-RLED Cordless Microscope from National Optical is a three-objective single viewing microscope with a 45° inclined monocular. The three objectives are 4x, 10x, and 40xR, and feature achromatic lenses which reduce color distortions introduced by imperfections in optical elements. Reducing these color distortions allows you to see sharper images with better color fidelity. The retractable 40xR objective has a spring-loaded lens which will retract when it touches the slide thereby protecting the lens and the slide. The parfocalled and parcentered design allows for switching objectives without having to realign your sample and without losing focus. Both the turret and the included objectives adhere to the DIN microscope objective standard. This means that you can use any DIN objective with your microscope worrying about it ever becoming obsolete. The focusing system performs fine and coarse adjustments. The turret has four holes and can accommodate a fourth objective.

To see details of your specimens more easily, the microscope has an LED illumination system with adjustable brightness. The light intensity it delivers is equivalent to that of a 20W incandescent bulb. The white light from the bottom LED emitter is focused on the sample with a 0.65 NA Abbe condenser. The iris diaphragm located underneath the stage allows you to tune the contrast of your images while using different magnifying powers.

The microscope also features a 5.3 x 5.3" platform with an adjustable height and has two clips which hold your slides securely in place. The frame of the microscope is made of cast metal with gray enamel finish.

Included with the microscope are three rechargeable AA NiMH batteries, a wall adapter, a dustcover, and two Allen wrenches for rack stop and eyepiece socket tension adjustment. To recharge your microscope's batteries, just connect the microscope to the wall power adapter.

Perfect for classroom settings, the Swift M2250 Series microscopes are both durable and cost-effective solutions for your needs. There are lots of features here which essentially "studentproof" the units from tampering or theft, such as locked-on parts and a slip clutch which helps avoid gear damage.

The M2251C is the cordless model with LED illumination. Did we mention that it doesn't have any cords?!? No need to search for outlets, no tiring lessons on proper cord storage, no ...well, you get the idea. A single charge of the included AA rechargeable battery pack, which takes about eight hours, yields up to 50 hours of continuous use. You'll get about 500 charges out of the battery before needing to replace it; that's about 2500 hours of schooling!

B&H # SWM3702CB3 MFR # M3702CB-3

The M3702CB-3 Cordless Microscope from Swift is a three-objective microscope with a 45° inclined binocular viewing Siedentopf head. The three objectives are 4x, 10x, and the retractable 40xR. They are located on rotating turret with a ball bearing mount. The retractable 40xR objective has a spring-loaded lens which will retract when it touches the slide thereby protecting the lens and the slide. Both the turret and the included objectives adhere to the DIN microscope objective standard which enables you to use any commercially available DIN objective with this microscope without worrying about it ever becoming obsolete.

The microscope features semi-plan objectives which reduce color and field distortions introduced by imperfections in optical elements. Reducing these color and field distortions allows you to see images with better color fidelity and have uniform focus covering 80% of the field of view. The parfocalled and parcentered design allows for switching objectives without having to realign your sample and without losing focus. The coaxial focusing system has separate fine and coarse controls. The 18mm wide field 10x eyepieces have an interpupillary and diopter adjustment.

The LED illumination system has adjustable brightness which is controlled by a rheostat. It delivers light intensity equivalent to that of a 20W incandescent bulb. The light from the bottom LED emitter is focused on the sample with a 1.25 NA Abbe condenser.

The 5.75 x 4.75" mechanical stage has adjustable height, a slide holder and allows you to move specimen slides in X-Y plane with precision. The frame of the microscope is made of metal and has a handle for carrying.

Included with the microscope are three rechargeable AA NiMH batteries, a battery charger, a wall adapter, a vinyl dustcover, and a Allen wrench. To recharge your microscope's batteries, just connect the microscope to the wall power adapter.

Celestron Lab's CM1000C Cordless Monocular Microscope is ideally suited for the classroom and lab environments with its 360° rotating head for easy sharing, an eyepiece set at a comfortable 45° angle, and broad magnification range. Its three-position turret holds the 4x, 10x, and 40x objectives and the instrument comes with two eyepieces that produce magnifications from a practical 40x to a powerful 1000x.

The 3.5 x 3.5" stage has metal slide/specimen clips, and an adjustable-intensity halogen bulb under the stage provides the necessary illumination. It is powered by either a US 110 VAC plug or three included AA batteries for use in the field. The manually adjustable iris and condenser ensures the perfect amount of light and beam spread to illuminate the specimen without washing it out. Use the dual coarse/fine coaxial focus knobs to bring all specimens into sharp, clear focus.
