B&H # POP3CSHUTTER MFR # P3-CS-SHUTTER
"A solid, well built filter set that is an essential element of my phantom kit....In many situations the 32 will be all you need, but when filming bright, reflective surfaces you'll be glad to have the 64 option (think the reflection off water, a concrete parking lot at noon, ect)."

"Polar Pro filters work as advertised....The filters are made of high quality materials and each has it's own little storage bag, so you're not spending time pulling the wrong filter out."

"Works Good...Nice filter...You only need this filter occasionally, but when you do it makes the difference between taking a picture and making a picture....I do a lot of nature/landscape photography, and this filter cuts both upper and side glare when positioned properly."

Neutral density filters have several uses and offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. They enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting color balance. ND filters appear gray and reduce the amount of light reaching the film.
Determining which neutral density filter yields ideal results for any given lighting situation takes knowledge, experience, and a collection of such filters. Speaking generally, the 2-stop value (ND 0.6) effectively compensates average situations.
"NIce kit!...Great Kit...Attached you will find a test shot I've taken with a ND 1.2 + d600 + 70-200 @ f2.8 + iso200 + einstein at 1/4 power with a beauty dish taken on a bright sunny day at 3-4pm....A great quality filter kit, I bought these for long daytime exposures, I am using step downs for smaller lens and the results are great."

"Good quality...Great for Video...Biggest CON really lies on the fac that there isn't a kit for darker end ND filters as opposed to having to use the lower ND filter series....The pouch is handy to keep them safe and has an empty slot for an additional filter of your choice, such as a polarizer, or maybe some stepup rings, though I'd recommend putting a cloth or thin foam or something in the center so the edges can't scratch the filters opposite."

"Great Kit!...Good Filters...After a fair amount of online research, I discovered these are the best filters on the market....I'm a fan of tiffen filters and have used them for a long time on various cameras."

"Good Buy...Nice job....This filter is limited in that you can't really adjust how much of the lens is covered by the dark part of the filter but you don't have to fuss with it the way you have to fuss with a filter holder....It's a great way to get pro images with a camera that's smaller than a pro lens and costs less than a pro video cam battery."

"Nice Kit...Great kit...Yes, I did read about the adjustable ND filters vs combining 2 or more ND filters together, and I went with this set....I like that I can increase the ND filters by combining them together."

"It Works...Nice filter...I ordered the 0.6 neutral density but since I live at high altitude the 0.9 might have been a better choice....My 28mm f2 AIS is becoming a favorite but this filter vignettes the corners a large amount."

"A must have...Good filter...This is a good choice when you need to take some high contrast pictures, I am using this when I need to take a picture in a training room where I have the bright light of the projector and people at one side....But since this was a very special purpose filter for a very special purpose application (aerial sunsets), none of the shortcomings I saw really affect me at all."

"Great !...Love it....This Tiffen filter is GLASS, made in the U.S.A. and comes with a little filter how-to booklet free, like a prize in a Cracker box....Being the first one I have bought I have nothing to compare it to so I will just say that it's working as advertised for me and it balances the sky and the ground effectively."

The kit contains a 1-stop (0.3), 2-stop (0.6), 3-stop (0.9) and 4-stop (1.2) set of ND filters. Using these filters permits you to use slower shutter speeds that can produce blurred effects of nature, sports or any action you choose, i.e. flowing water, birds in flight, cars - just about anything you can think of. It also permits you to shoot on the beach or in bright light when using high speed ISO ratings by enabling slower shutter speeds to be employed. Irrespective of the medium you are using such as film, digital, video or cine, neutral density filters are quite valuable and should be a part of any shooter's arsenal of tools.
Often it is necessary or desirable to control the light intensity within a given frame. This is especially true in situations where you don't have total light control, as in bright contrasty landscapes. Exposing for the foreground will produce a washed-out, over-exposed sky while exposing for the sky will leave the foreground dark and under-exposed. A neutral density filter will allow you to retain exposure control but will not affect the color of the image.
Neutral Density filters allow you to shoot under conditions that would normally be impossible to shoot under - particularly outside in snow, beach or extreme bright light scenarios. For the landscape photographer, irrespective of the format you use (film, digital, video or cine), this filter is almost a necessity because it permits you to maintain creative control over a tough lighting venue while still maintaining proper exposure.
For those who like moody, soft creative looks to their images, this filter can produce blurred movement when used with waterfalls, fast moving objects (cars, etc) and even nature subjects such as birds in flight or running animals. There are people who even use them on their iPhone to capture interesting images when a traditional camera isn't handy.
Tiffen uses the highest quality Water White Glass that contains an anti-glare and anti-reflective coating. This glass reduces the greenish tint sometimes common in standard glass. Water White Glass permits accurate color transmission. It is clear to the eye and is characterized by an optically pure composition that delivers the highest caliber of image possible.
Tiffen, a leader in the filter industry, proudly makes its filters in the USA and backs up its products with a solid 10-year warranty.
