"Not bad...It's ok...The single Bescor light was used variously: bounced off a foamcore as if a micro PAR, bounced off the ceiling, Direct under a 10 degree grid from a 7 inch strobe reflector, Direct under Lee cosmetic peach gel In the direct approaches, it was possible to put a hair light, rim light on the arm, and a bit of raised ambience to better define the laptop used as the key light....and it turned out nice ... I was glad I had it I would like to buy another one like it - one on the camera and one on a tripod would be nice for interviews and much cheaper than a complete lighting kit ... I GIVE IT 4 STARS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE PLASTIC SHOE /SHRUG BUT I WILL GET ANOTHER ONE"See more

"love it...Good buy...I would recommend a Torch LED from Switronix for a brighter spot light, but this light is adequate and I think it works really well for adding just a little more light to a room for wedding videos and is exceptionally much more convenient than my lowel kit for doing on location interviews....Its not too heavy on a shoulder rigged dslr, but even on a monopod, this little light worked well for my light weight day bag."See more

"I Like !!...Nice unit...Did some research on others and the VM-110 had some good reviews.I use this for close up photos on parts I sell on @ and I use this on my Nikon D7000.There is a learning curve on camera setting....Other people have complained that the plastic threads on the adapter rings came loose from their camera lens threads but I have not found this to be a problem when I use the adapter ring to adapt from the light to the 62 mm thread on my Sony FDR-AX100 video camera."See more

"Love it...Nice LED...This has to be the best purchase I made, I love the fact that I can choose how bring I want my light and choose how strong....Altho reason why 4 star is that I didn't notice because I didn't use diffuser for this shoot but I found out 2 of 4 magnet has missing that is from when I was testing at home using diffuser, 2 of them came out from and stick w the magnet on diffuser side."See more

"loved it...THE BEST...The Bolt VM-160 macro ring light is an amazing light for macro shooting which distributes the light around the lens for better illumination Giving you a sense of side lighting on the lighting and overhead lighting at a minimum to a perfect balance , I love it it is amazing how a very quick set up 1 2 3 and you get the picture that you would acquire from a law just set up and mono lights...I really did not have a ring light on my wish list, but I had recently obtained a used macro lens and when I saw a good deal on the light I snagged one."See more

"Love It...Love it....I use this light for shooting HDV on my canon xh a1s and it does a great job of lighting any area to a capacity that looks great on video....This light is great for raising the ambient light of a room (bouncing it off the ceiling), lighting up a large background or evenly lighting a green screen."See more

"Very Good...So bright...I was amazed at the brightness I got from such a small light , and the bracket that comes with it makes it easy to put just about anywhere , on camera shoe, screw on bottom of camera , take off camera for a more dramatic touch ....This little thing is a huge thing when it matters of light source at night for video or just to light a subject for a picture, I like that has two rechargeable batteries and its charger."See more

"Great Kit...Great buy!...I returned then and picked up a set in store (the Live Chat feature on the b & h website was extremely instrumental in making this a smooth process), and they work fine....Both lights worked great right out if the box.The do feel a bit on the cheap construction and are not super powerful but you do get the light you need and they have a dimmer."See more

The Silkray's size and shape are unique factors. The diminutive 10.23" diameter disc is a little over 1/2" in thickness, and since its LEDs are barely warm to the touch, the light can be squeezed into places where traditional light sources just can't go. Add to that the fact that the Silkray 400 can be separated from its yoke, and you have a light that can almost literally go anywhere. And, since it weighs in at only 3 lb, you can gaffer tape it into position if needed. The flexible Silkray 400 also offers power options. It comes with a 100-240 VAC power adapter, ready for worldwide use, but it can also run on optional NP-F type camera batteries when mains power is unavailable.
"Love it...Love it!...I like this as a fill light because it has more built-in diffusion than you find on most LED panels, so it works great as a quick-setup fill light with no added paper....It offers a pleasing, diffused light that will make it good to illuminate tight shots and serve as a hair light or a soft fill."See more

"Love it!...A WINNER!...Overall pretty happy with this kit, I wanted an affordable light with a rechargeable battery and even better it comes in a case with accessories.Downside: At the lowest light level I find the lighting to be a bit strong, even with filters on it needs to be softer when shooting at peoples faces....Too bright on camera so I use it off camera on a stand up high to prevent subjects from squinting, or as a bounce light up, left, or right pointing."See more

"Love it...Love it!...I liked it a lot I got a set of three lights I am dissapointed with the gels holder because they come out easy I got a set and they come in a nice case but they dont come with barn doors and soft boxes includen I paid almos 1700 they should include it all so you wont have to order separate items because you are going to need it and that will cost you for the set another 600 dlls or so rotolight should sell you a complete set not just partially complete...The light placement works best when you have an assistant holding the light on a boom pole or a good selfie stick close to your subject."See more

The durable anodized aluminum frame is supported by an oversized, U-shaped yoke with locking knobs on each side and a standard 5/8" receiver. The LED500 can be used worldwide, powered by the included 100-240 VAC adapter in the studio, or by V-Mount batteries in the field. Four-way barndoors for contouring and control of the LED500's 45-degree beam angle are available separately. For protection during transport and storage, a carry case is included.
"In love...Very Good...If you put the dial in the middle, then ALL the lights are on and it's much brighter, but you get mixed lighting... I chose this light because I rarely shoot in and ALL tungsten or ALL daylight environment...always mixed lighting in some way....After using various types of lights through the years (HMI, tungsten, LED), I finally made the jump to a better grade adjustable LED light - the LED500 Pro."See more

In a field dominated by rectangular or square arrays, Genaray has made the wise choice of making their studio lights circular. Not only does the increased surface area have more wrap-around light characteristics but the shape renders pleasing, natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes. And if you're doing portraiture, you can soften the SpectroLED-14's output by slipping the included 3/4 stop diffusion sock over the reflector. Heat is never a concern since the cool-running LEDs are barely warm to the touch.
Another way to soften the quality of light is to use the umbrella socket that is built into the mount. You can use reflective or translucent umbrellas for bounce or shoot-through effects. The socket accepts 7 or 8 mm shafts and the mount has a 65-degree tilting range for perfect placement.
Power is provided by an included multi-voltage power supply and adapter that accepts 100-240 VAC. The inclusion of a cigarette lighter adapter cord also gives you the option of using 12V batteries for convenience or location shooting. You can run the SpectroLED-14 for approximately 70 minutes on an average fully charged battery. Not only are you saving money every time you use the SpectroLED-14 due to its low current draw, but with a 50,000-hour lamp life the SpectroLED-14 is virtually maintenance-free. The light mounts to any compatible 5/8" baby pin stand and can be operated with an optional remote dimmer that connects via a 12.8' cable.
"Wow 4.5...Love it!...A car lighter plugin allows for power the light on the go, an extra fuse is included as a backup and reference, and a diffusion sock that tightly fits over the front of the light creates some great diffusion in a fraction of the space a lightbox would take....They are made out of a really high quality polymer plastic that sounds like aluminum when you tap on it, and feel light but still very sturdy."See more

"VERY GOOD...Great Buy...I love the fact that this light is re-chargeable, mounts on a cold shoe atop a camera, has barn doors and a dimmable dial, and packs a nice bit of lumens for such a small form factor....This product is exactly what I expected, its a great on camera LED and in a pinch along with in small and tight quarters this is a great little spot."See more
