At the bottom of the driver handle, the anodized butt-cap is removable and conceals two bit holders, which contain 22 3/16" hex bits and 1 hex key. The first bit holder has 10 of the most commonly used hex bits for Really Right Stuff equipment. In addition, the second holder contains 12 more bits, and all the tips have been stamped with the corresponding tip size. The 3/16" hex key is also stored inside the handle, alongside the bits and two bit holders. Hex key and bits are coated to be resistant against corrosion. Furthermore, screwing the butt-cap on creates a waterproof seal.
The multi-tool's shaft is made of stainless steel, and the driver is magnetic to keep the bits in place. For a better grip, the driver handle is textured and will not slip from the hand when torque is applied. All components of the MTX Multi-Tool are made in the United States, except for the hex tips.
"Great tool mix...Very useful stuff....Handy, Well-Designed Driver Set...As for not using the more standard 1/4 bits, I think that RRS made a fine design tradeoff in going to the smaller 3/16 bits, which allows them to pack more into the handle holder and to lower the overall size and weight."See more

"Great Tool...Great item....first it is very compact it can hang from your belt loop and does not get in the way it has the standard pliers and knife a handy bottle opener and a very useful screwdriver attachment that does not fall apart it carries 2 tips very securely and the driver head is solid....The only thing I would appreciate is a small pair of scissors, but ther rest of the device is a dream, and a lot more convenient that the pouch-held Leatherman Wave I used."See more

"Good tool...Nice too....This is not a substitute for a full-sized Leatherman because the tools are thinner and less durable, but for a pocket option it is my favorite....I grew up with a Swiss Army knife in my pocket at all times, and this is a great substitute."See more

"I Liked it...Great Tool...Sure it doesn't have a lot of tools for the price point but think of it as the tools it does have, is crafted beautifully and strong with attention of detail....Some people may use it to clip on a belt but I find the belt clip plenty useful and long enough for my back pocket."See more
