"Works great for what it is....Flip up function works well....Someone in the reviews mentioned that the Shape fs7 adjustment arm didn't work with this, but I have not had that issue and it works fine....Great lightweight option for the FS7"See more

"Works OK...Love it....After I had read Scott Kelby's Digital Photography and knew about BH Photo Video of New York,I found out that in the realm of photography and accessories we can count on BH PhotoVideo and buy anything from BH PhotoVideo and can be sure that we will get the right thing. That why recently I ordered an extra plate for my manfrotto head, and I got the right one....As I also use the same tripod for a spotting scope, which also has a dedicated mounting plate, I just leave the plates on the respective equipment and it only takes seconds to switch."See more

"Love it....Good make...On most shoots I use a 501 pan-head on the tripod and owning multiple camera plates for the 501 means that I can keep a separate plate with each different camera (or mounted to the jib unit) and not have to worry about forgetting to bring a plate to the shoot locations....I bought one of these for each camera and lens (that has a 1/4 20 mount) that I have so I can switch things out quickly and effectively."See more

"Love it!...love it....I love how this plate uses a secure locking lever with a safety stop so I never have to worry about my camera falling off....I am on and off a tripod a lot and wanted something that I could mount with one hand, hear a click and know it was solid."See more

"Love it!...Good buy!...I bought several of these so I could leave a platform on each of my cameras, allowing me to switch which camera I have on my tripod quickly....I usually leave this on my camera, but I took it off recently and misplaced it - thanks to B&H ... I was up and running again in just a few days..."See more

It is the ideal tool to make precise positioning movements to achieve the perfect framed shot, for macro photography, for QTVR, and other precise copy/repro work. This plate has finger-tip control for ultra-fine positioning, but has a simple lock-release lever for fast set-up.
Two plates can be interlocked at 90° for full lateral/forward/back movement (over 4.7"). Made of extruded aluminum, the plate has 1/4"-20 and 3/8" holes and screws for tripod and camera mounting.
Replaces old part number 3419.
"Not bad...Great item...I works well enough but there is a bit of a play in the slider and when you use it for macro as I do you have to be very careful because even the slightest move will shift you focus....It's worth mentioning that the plate comes with both 3/8ths and 1/4-20 screws, both are removable but only the 3/8ths screw can be stored directly on the plate, so if you mean to use the plate with a tripod head combination you will have to find another place for the 1/4-20 screw."See more

You can attach the quick release plate to the camera's base at all times; the item allows the user to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from the tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
"Fits fine...Thank you...It works well and is a defenite plus to be able to get extra plates for the tripod; however a couple of things are a little bit inconvenient....I will not hesitate to check them next time I need something, and they are even worthwhile to look at when I do not need anything."See more

"Other than that, the deflector is a bit pricey for what it is, but not a big deal....With the plate in place, the light modifier delivers a quality of light more akin to that of a beauty dish....The deflector plate for the 26 Rapid Box is a great addition to your tool kit, as it allows you to change the quality of light from your light modifier in seconds."See more

"Solid Fit...Perfect !...All in all I am very happy with the plateness of the plate and the screwness of the screw - my only real complaint is the screwness of the price, which I find a bit painful due to the fact that you are after all purchasing a metal plate and a screw....I see my mistake now, which I did buying dedicated plate from RRS for 70-200mm f2.8 IS II L before buying P-20 (By the way P-20 is bit longer than RRS plate for 70-200mm f2.8 IS II L) Overall it is matching quality of RRS and Kirk I like versality of this product as it can be used on many lenses."See more

B&H # WIQRPP5 MFR # P-5
The P-5 plate has a thin, dense layer of textured rubber upon its uppermost surface, which grips the bottom of cameras but is so dense and thin that it maintains a solid feel similar to a metal-to-camera connection. Below the rubber, the top metal surface of the P5 is machined to ensure that frictional force is concentrated on the plate's outer portions, which provides the maximum mechanical advantage to help resist twisting.
While the P5 works on nearly all camera bodies, it is brilliantly suited for use with cameras which have metal skeletons and metal tripod sockets. With plastic-bodied camera bodies, one must not apply excessive torque to the plate when attaching to the camera.
"Good buy...good stuff...I definitely prefer the camera specific plates from Really Right Stuff, but if I have to use a generic/universal plate for something, I think this one is a good choice....I think it is a really good plate and I use it with my 645d and an Arca Swiss Monoball Z1."See more

"Love it!...Good foot....This is a good product, but I returned it because I found a better solution for me: the 4th Generation foot for the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8, which does NOT have a quick-release feature, but is a lower-profile Arca-Swiss style foot that attaches to the lens tripod collar with a screw....Right, so I chose this plate rather than adding a plate to the Nikon mount, because it offers a chance to simplify."See more
