With the DJI ND Filter Set for Mavic Air, you can achieve cinematic imagery by reducing the light hitting your Mavic Air's camera sensor. The included ND4, ND8, and ND16 filters reduce the light by 2, 3, and 4 stops, respectively. By reducing the light hitting the sensor, you can achieve more cinematic motion blur by increasing the shutter duration to compensate for the light loss.

The Tiffen 77mm Graduated 0.6 ND Filter is a graduated neutral density filter that helps to specifically darken skies and other bright areas of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a feathered line between the density and clear areas. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 0.6 density provides a 2 stop reduction in light from entering the lens.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Lee Neutral Density gels are available in small increments and have many uses. They offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. ND filters appear grey and reduce the amount of light reaching the film. They have no effect on color balance. They have four main uses: 1) To enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with high speed films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, or cars. 2) To decrease depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background. 3) To decrease the effective ISO of high speed film (above ISO 400) and allow it to be used outdoors in bright situations. 4) To allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which could cause overexposure.

Lee resin filters are made from lightweight, optical resin and are 4 x 4" (100 x 100mm) x 2mm thick.

These filters are available in increments from 1 to 3 stops exposure reduction.

Neutral Density factors:

ND .30 (exposure adjustment = 1 stop)

ND .60 (exposure adjustment = 2 stops)

ND .90 (exposure adjustment = 3 stops)

Formatt Graduated Neutral Density HD Filters enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting color balance. Exposure can be increased by 1, 2, 3 or 4 stops to suit individual situations.

Often it is necessary or desirable to balance the light intensity in one part of a scene with another. This is especially true in situations where you don't have total light control, as in bright contrasty landscapes. Exposing for the foreground will produce a washed-out, over-exposed sky while exposing for the sky will leave the foreground dark and under-exposed. This filter enables cloud detail to be kept correctly exposed in the picture.

Soft/hard indicates the degree of transition.

"works great...Good results...This I love, however, I'm not wholly convinced it is a .9 ND, probably more like a .6, but either way, it does the job I need it to do on the majority of occasions, and I can't complain about having one in my kit, as I use it with almost all landscapes!...For example, I have found it makes a big difference in metering on a shaded lighthouse when the sky & lake are nearly white or light gray... This way, my highlights are not blown out by the time I get the right exposure on my subject."

The Heliopan 77mm Variable Gray ND Filter is a solid variable neutral density filter providing a reduction of about 1 to 6 stops. The 0.3 to 1.8 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. The degree of density is easily controlled by rotating the front filter ring, allowing you to previsualize the additional exposure length required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image.

This filter features a brass mounting ring that is painted matte black to help reduce reflections. High quality Schott glass provides optical clarity and greater contrast to help render scenes with greater fidelity and resolution. This filter does not have front threads for attaching other filters.

"Nice Filter...Works well!...Although I had tons of graduated filters (including colored grad filters), it was just a hassle to install the filter holder, then insert a filter, etc. This screw-on graduated ND filter goes on and comes off in 30 seconds, so it's a big improvement in how easy it's to use....Sometimes the rotating side makes it difficult to unscrew the filter from a lens, but with a little patience and finesse it'll come off in no time."
