Battery Grips
Battery grips hold extra batteries beneath DSLR or mirrorless cameras. In addition to extending the battery life of the camera, some grips have an extra shutter release, which is great for portrait photography.
Benefits of Battery Grips
In addition to storing digital camera batteries and having an extra shutter release, some battery grips have main command dials for convenient access to your cameras functions. Some grips contain full panel controls that make it possible to run your DSLR camera from the grip. The grips also have large bases that make it easier to hold and steady the camera for smoother shots. Using a grip can more than double the time you spend shooting without having to stop to replace batteries.
