    Lowepro 70 AW Reviews

Top Loader Pro 70 AW Camera Bag is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 88.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Toploader I use this toploader as an everyday carry for my canon 5D3.? I usually carry my camera with a 35 1.4 L lens.? This case has plenty of room and nice padding for protection.? It will also fit my camera with an L bracket installed.? When traveling I usually carry the camera with a 16-35 L zoom lens which fits in this toploader perfectly.? I know this particular model is now discontinued but I own a few lowepro toploaders and I would definitely recommend them.? When you want to travel light and don't want to carry a bag or backpack these toploaders are great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Quality, but... I have nothing but Lowepro bags to carry my gear. It’s kind of pricey, but then so is photo equipment. I have had the Toploader 75 AW for a few years and been very pleased with it in all respects but one. The 75 holds a body with a 70-200 2.8 very nicely. And the Toploader 70 does the same with a 24-70 2.8. My only wish with both of these bags is that there was room to hold a fast prime. There are plenty of slim pockets on both for small items: batteries, SD cards, lens pens, etc. But I’ve had to attach other small bags to both Toploaders to carry even a relatively small fast 50. But that is my only real complaint with the bags. And adding additional room to the already large size of the Toploaders migh make them too bulky. Overall, I am very pleased with both the 70 & 75 AW Lowepro Toploaders!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the Job Good bag that will hold everything you need and secure your camera securely. Will hold larger camera with battery grip and 24-70 zoom lens. It would score 5 stars if it had a hammock system to suspend the camera and lens rather than it resting on the bottom of the case and if it included a hard water proof bottom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from using with Nikon D700 and Grip I like the way the bag fits, and can cary the one camera with. The fit is a little to tight to keep my Manfrotto tripod adapter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, high quality, but not heavy I bought two of these-- one for my wife and one for me-- before we make a trip to Europe. ?It fits my Nikon D750+24-70 lens, and similarly fits her Nikon D500+24-70 lens perfectly, with room for other things like batteries, lens pens, extra cards, etc. ?Very happy with the ballistic nylon-ish material as well-- sturdy yet lightweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. This camera bag fits my Canon 5D MK3 with the 24-105mm lens attached with the lens hood in the inverted position. There is not much extra room for anything else in the main compartment, but there is enough room the outside zippered pockets for extra batteries and memory cards. It's much easier to carry and access my camera than with a standard camera bag and that's exactly why I bought it. It's sturdy and cushioned. The shoulder strap and back strap keep it from moving while walking. For the times when you don't plan on using another lens or flash, this bag is well worth having.

    question

Will it fit a t3i rebel with a battery grip?
    Asked by: Joshua R.
The Lowepro Toploader Pro 70 AW Camera bag was too small for my Nikon D810 with a battery grip and Really Right Stuff L Bracket, which is taller than my Nikon D4 with a Really Right Stuff L Bracket, so I bought a Ruggard Hunter Pro 65 Holster Bag, which fit comfortably and had enough room to get my fingers around the body grip to pull the camera out easily, and in my opinion is much better built. I'm going to buy another Ruggard for my Nikon D4 to replace my Lowepro. The strap on the Ruggard is also wider and thicker material than the Lowepro and more comfortable to carry on my shoulder. That said, I don't know what the dimensions of your camera are. My D810 w/ battery grip & L bracket measures 7 H x 6-3/4 W, and my D4 w/ battery grip & L bracket measures 6-3/4 H x 6-3/4 W. Hope that helps.

    question

Anyone ever attached a Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm to the Toploader Pro 70 AW camera bag? If so, how did it work?
    Asked by: Michael
No reason why it shouldn't work - it might stick out proud of the case a bit, but that would only be an issue if you wanted the case to stand up when you put it down. The Toploader has an additional strap that you can use to secure the case to stop it flopping about. I've attached a number of lens cases to the Toploader with no problems.
