Vanguard QUOVIO 49T Overview

  • 1Description

The black Quovio 49T Roller/Trolley Bag from Vanguard has room for everything the pro needs to get the job done. With its capacity for 1-2 pro DSLRs (one with attached lens up to 400mm f/5.6), 5-7 extra lenses, two flashes, and 14" laptop, this rolling bag will get you there with room to spare for your tripod and accessories. It even comes with extra accessory pouches so all your small stuff will be organized and readily accessible when the time comes to use them. Your laptop is held in its own touch fastened pocket.

The rolling bag has two wheels and a retractable pull handle for easy transportation up ramps, through parking lots and airports. Its top grab handle makes for easy retrieval of the bag from your car or luggage rack.

Inside, it's spacious and customizable with dividers that enable you to separate your gear into individual nests that keep lenses and DSLRs scratch-free and well cushioned. The bag can serve double-duty as a general purpose carry-all. If you remove the dividers, you now have one large single storage area that can be used for personals when you want to go on vacation.

The exterior is made from polyester and nylon while the inside is polyester and velvet. The velvet helps to keep your gear free from abrasions. A rain cover is included for location work when the weather turns sour. A name card holder assures that you'll always be able to identify your bag in a crowd. Most pro photographers never travel without a tripod and the Quovio 49T has an exterior way to strap your pod to the side of the bag using Vanguard's Quick Adjustment Straps. The Quovio 49T comes with a limited lifetime warranty from Vanguard.

    Vanguard QUOVIO 49T Reviews

Quovio 49T Roller/Trolley Bag (Black) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will probably buy more of these... My Vanguard Roller / Trolley was placed in service 2 weddings ago - it holds everything - a DSLR, 2 small video cameras, batteries, chargers, audio recorders, cables, and other accessories along with a laptop, and my tripod easily attaches outside the case. What I also like about it as that you can unzip it while it is upright without having things falling out - making it easier to use in a tight space. I can't believe how more organized I feel compared to my prior bags, and with the ease of rolling it, I can have a greater assortment of equipment with me in most situations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A perfect rolling camera bag I am a freelance portrait and event photographer. It was getting difficult for me to carry all my equipment in a shoulder bag, and the back pack was uncomfortable putting on and off. I've been looking for a rolling cart on line but felt it was better to see the choices to see how everything would fit. The sales woman was extremely helpful in finding me the case that worked best with my equipment. I chose the Vanguard for its size and weight. I like it even more than I expected to. It comfortably fits my Nikon 800 with a 70 -200 lens attached, Nikon 810 with 28-70 attached, an additional lens, 3 speed lights and a few accessories . It's easy to access the wheels work well and I can still carry it up stairs without breaking my back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my lighter gear! Switching to a lighter weight camera and lenses meant I needed a lighter camera bag too. This one is working perfectly. And it will fit in the overhead bin when I travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed It is perfect to carry the items it is described on the web site. The wheels roll very easy. It is also small enough to take as a plane carry-on. I really like it. My gear became too heavy to carry as a backpack. This solution was perfect for me. The only cons is the lack of Velcro strap on the back of the bag to place on top of a wheeled computer bag during international trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Bag At first I wasn't going to get a rolling bag, and get a back pack, for my Sony Pro Camcorder. The bag is great, pockets are padded well and even has a place for a laptop. The wheels are very smooth. Besides room for the camcorder, I have room for my Canon 7D sports lens. The bag will also support a tripod on the side, but my tripod was to big for the straps and holder. It will hold a basic tripod very well, but will not hold a larger one like the Manfrotto one I have. Great purchase, and I'm glad I purchased it.

    question

Will a canon 100 to 400 lens fit in this?
    Asked by: ruth v.
I'm a Nikon user, but the largest lens I have is a 70-200mm f2.8 (it's about 7.5 long) and it fits just fine! All the compartments are adjustable so you customize the interior to fit your gear. I'm happy with the amount of space, but having a roller bag is the best part of this case!

    question

will a 6d with grip attached fit??
    Asked by: DAVID C.
Don't really know - I don't have one. There is only about an inch clearance from the top of the camera to the lidbut it is well cushioned. Best bet - Go and get a 6D and Grip - attach them and put it in the bag before you buy it.
