Is this memory card compatible with the Canon 5d mark ii ?

My 5D mk ii won't format a 256gb, even with the latest firmware. However, if you format the card elsewhere, it seems to work in the camera. The only issue being the camera count of available shots can't display a number greater than 999.

is this Memory Card compatible with the Canon 50D?

This memory card is compatible with Canon 50D. I've transferred the 16GB Extreme ProCompact Flash, still containing RAW images taken with Canon 5D III, and transferred it to Canon 50D. Then tested it by taking photos of a night lamp, ISO 800, 1/200, f4 on a 70-200, Quality jpg L. Then, I used the Canon Speedlight 430EX at high speed setting, 1/500, f4, ISO 250. Yes, this CF is compatible. Enjoy!

I had the same question. Contacted Sound Design tech people. Here is one technician's reply: I spoke with a few of the other technicians here and they have heard of many customers using the 160MB/s SanDisk cards in multiple 7-series products without issue. Given our history with SanDisk, I wouldn't think we'll have an issue with this card .

Is it best to format this card after it fills? Or is it okay to erase the images and not format?

Its best to use this card until reaches aobut 75% of its capacity, going further than that is to ask for problems. After you back up all your imoprtant images, the best is to format the card with the camera that uses it.

Can this card be used in a Canon T2i?

No you need an SD type memory card. This type (compact flash or CF) will not fit the Cannon t2i.
