This Windows-compatible, electronic download of Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Standard 2014 is an upgrade for current users of any other Autodesk 2014 product and is for installation on a single computer. The applications that comprise the suite are Maya, 3ds Max, MotionBuilder, Mudbox, and SketchBook Designer. Together they add up to a comprehensive set of 3D animation and modeling program tools geared toward digital animators, content creation specialists, and other entertainment industry professionals.
With Entertainment Creation Suite Standard Edition it is possible to create virtually any kind of animation or 3D imagery you want. Starting from the ground up, you can build raw elements such as characters, props, and environments. Once these elements are complete they can then be combined and manipulated in a variety of ways. The suite also features integrated data management tools designed to simply the task of ensuring all of your media and metadata files are properly accounted for and updated across the network.
General Animation Tools
Keyframe, procedural, and scripted tools for manipulating animated objects within a scene
Complete architectural platform for skinning, rigging, and posing characters from scratch
Digital Painting and Sculpting
Mudbox allows you to build and paint highly realistic elements including characters, environments, props, virtual sets, and product designs
Populate Crowd Generation
Add large groups of background characters to your scene. Where movement is required, heading and direction will be mapped out along pathways called "flow", and for static groups, "idle areas" will be specified. For optimization, secondary parameters including crowd density, male-to-female ratio and resolution can then be adjusted
Moving part of a flexible object, such as a character's hand, will cause the rest of the object to move appropriately along with the selected part
2D Pan and Zoom
Move 3D elements added to the foreground scene without losing registration with the back plate image
Add 3D elements to a 2D photographic background while retaining proper perspective
mParticles Particle Flow System
Features from other mass effects simulations can now be applied to the manipulation of particle effects as well
Draw sketches directly in the viewport to create simple cell-based animations designed to help communicate ideas more efficiently
With Maya you are able to assemble layers and passes into a composite tree. Any changes made to passes will then be automatically updated in Maya Composite
DirectX Shader Integration
Facilitates native DirectX 11 shader support within the viewport, exposing DirectX 11 shaders to all of the same functionality available to the application's own internal shaders
Accelerated Modeling Workflow
Integrates selection and transformation tools within a single window minimizing tool-switching
Adobe After Effects Interoperability
Many utilities in the suite feature one-step interoperability with Abode After Effects, giving you the flexibility to choose the best tool for a particular task
Nvidia Iray Renderer
Supports rendering Checker, Color Correction, Dent, Gradient, Gradient Ramp, Marble, Perlin Marble, Speckle, Substance, Tiles, Waves, Wood, and the Mental Ray Ocean shader
Configurable User Workspace
Tabbed selection allows you to toggle between different workspaces. In addition to defaults, you can fully customize these workspaces based on your needs
Data Transfer and Pipeline Integration
Single step transfer of data and objects between 3ds Max, Softimage, MotionBuilder, and Mudbox
