    SanDisk 16GB reviews

16 GB Extreme CompactFlash Memory Card is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 95.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The way to go nowdays I shoot with the Nikon D700 and no plans on a camera upgrade this year. But to upgrade to a 120 mbs from 30 makes a lot of sense. The Sandisk Extreme is a wonderful card and I just bought 3-16gb cards and I am going to add at least one more. Originally Nikon did not recommend a card larger than 8gb but with the A. & B. 1.02 firmware update you can use 64gb now...it is on the Nikon USA site. This card works great is very fast and it is affordable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried and tested for over 5 years I am a creature of habit. I have never had any data loss with my SanDisk CF cards. That is just fine with me. CF cards are pretty sturdy to begin with. I love the data transfer rate that comes with the Extreme brand. 120 MB/s has been great for events that have me clicking repeatedly on the shutter with no fear of data loss. Granted, the camera body has a lot to do with that but I am comfortable with the knowledge that my CF card holds up its end of the bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good so far Have been switching the card between a Canon 7D Mark II and an older Canon 1D Mark II N. It has worked quite well on both so far, including in burst modes (low- and high-continuous shooting) on the 7D Mark II... On the 20-MP 7D MII, in Auto ISO mode, its estimated capacity is for almost 600 RAW images; can store a significantly higher number of images at a time on the 8-MP 1D MII N. The capacity is ample for my needs, as I tend to transfer the images off the camera after each 'session'.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I put my absolute trust in SanDisk. Their media is in all of my DSLRs, and the performance of their products has never failed to meet my expectations for sports photography. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Price, Works for me! I bought this for my Canon XTi. Works great! There may be a speed improvement but, I didn't notice any, so my camera is probably the speed limiting bottleneck. With the 16 GB, the amount listed on the counter(jpg.) is 3497. The same memory card at retail stores cost twice as much. This is a good deal. I recommend this if you are using a smaller capacity card. 16GB is the largest for the XTi camera, according to Canon. Why not be able to take the most pictures without worry?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SanDisk reliability I have been using SanDisk CF cards for years with my Canon cameras. They have never failed me. I just recently purchased the SanDisk Extreme 16 GB cards for use in my EOS 5D Mark iii. They deliver every time...and that's important as I shoot aerials for a living...and after a photo mission, you don't want to have to reshoot because of a card failure...especially when paying for a plane and pilot. Reliability is the name of the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extra I was photographing The Blue Angels a couple of weeks ago. There were some situations where putting your camera on Burst is the best way to get that shot you envisioned. But at the end of the day, my memory card was full. (I had to go through my files and delete some older photos ). But with 16 GB's that would not happen. Since then, I have been a happy camper shooting away, and not worrying that I'll run out of bullets.
