Hello, with this Nodal Rail is nothing more necessary? I mean, do I put the Nodal Rail on my tripod, and can I use it for panoramic photographs? Or do I need to buy something else to complement it with the Nodal Rail?
You would need two of the other rails to build the full panoramic shooting rig. An easier alternative would be to get an L-Bracket and a tripod head that pans.

Would this rail work well with a fisheye 8mm lens? I'm worried it may be a little too long. BUT I'd like to find something I can use for fisheye, 85 and my 50 mm prime.Or am I asking too much of one piece.

Has anyone tried this with an Acratech GP/GP-s/GP-ss ball head? I am thinking about saving some cash and using this nodal slide with my GP-ss with lever clamp.
I have used this nodal rail on my Acratech GP ballhead which was on top of a Manfrotto leveling base set on top of my Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 tripod. It works great for my Nikon Z6 and Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2 lens. It also works for my Nikon 20mm f1.8 and Tamron 15-30 f2.8 G2 lenses. Good way to save money - I originally thought of getting the $140.00 RRS nodal rail.

Does this have an arca groove on top as well as, obviously, the bottom does? Can't tell by pics..
The Desmond DNR-180 Nodal Rail doesn't have an Arca groove on top.

Anybody use this for Macro photography? I'm concerned the clamp isn't strong enough to support the camera hanging over the end. I use a D300 with 105 mm Macro. Also the Kirk rail clamp rotates, but this doesn't. Any comments on this lack of function?
The ramp is plenty strong enough to support the camera/lens combination, but is your tripod head stable enough?

Is this rail able to be mounted in an arca-swiss style panning clamp (like the Really Right Stuff PCL-1)? That is, I can mount this rail on an arca-swiss style panning clamp and then mount my DSLR to the rail -also with an arca-swiss style L-bracket? Thanks.
