The MobileSTOR MS4CT+ 4-Bay USB 3.0/eSATA/FireWire 400 & 800 RAID Enclosure from Sans Digital is a RAID embedded enclosure offering a cost-efficient, high-performance storage solution for creative professionals. The embedded hardware RAID design provides offload of complex RAID calculation from the computer to the unit, allowing high performance throughput to USB 3.0, eSATA, and FireWire 800 with transfer speeds of up to 200 MB/s. Backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 and FireWire 400 allows easy connection to various computer operating systems.

Since the RAID engine is embedded inside the enclosure, there are no OS compatibility issues. With support of RAID 0, 1, 10, 3, and 5, the enclosure provides redundancy as well as data protection against hard drive failure. Easy to read LCD display panel and cooling fan, hard drive, and power LEDs show system status at a glance. Four hot-swappable hard drive slots behind the front cover allow easy troubleshooting and hard drive replacement. The tray-less design allows easy installation. With adjustable cooling fan design and high performance transfer rate to support various audio and video editing problems, this RAID enclosure is the ideal storage tower for high-end computing.
