Is it compatible with any other softbox or octabox? I have a Bowens compatible softbox and the speedring has a diameter around 7.5 inches (from rod slot to rod slot). Is it possible to measure outer diameter of Rfi speedring? Also is it possible to insert any plate inside Rfi speedring?
I can use my Photoflex small and medium, and 3' octabank with this fixture no problem

Is this product still relevant in 2022? I'm considering using this product and a 3' octa with 2 Canon 600EX-RT to use on location. Curious if it might be time to sell the 600EX-RT and get a newer monolight and avoid this Profoto RFi Speedlight Speed Ring altogether.

I don't think it will, I was interested and searched myself. This works only with the line of RFI softboxes.

Hi is this speedring strong enough to hold the 5' octa?
I have the 2 x3 softbox which use it mostly with this. Even though the speedring looks strong as it's all metal, the only weak point is the handle and I had problems before. It's all plastic inside and if you force to tight it will brake. I had to replace mine with an metal handle and it's fine now.
