TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458 Italia Edition is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice wheel I use this on my Xbox One. So much more realistic than using a controller for driving games! The wheel is comfy and fits nice in my adult hands. Much better quality than my old Microsoft wheel. The paddle shifters make a satisfying click when shifting gears, feels very sturdy. The unit is quite heavy, you need to mount it to something like a table - I used a sturdy wooden TV tray. Cons: The gas pedal sometimes squeeks a little when pressed, started after only a few hours of use. Pricey. No place to plug in chat headset; you have to plug your headset into another controller connected via USB cable to the Xbox One. Must power up Xbox with the wheel, not a controller, otherwise Forza 6 won't recognize the wheel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to Forza 6 and XBox ONE bought XBOX ONE to play Forza 6, after a week with Forza 6 i felt it needed some better expirience, so i decided to get the TX wheel. Pros: its force feedback is very nice, very powerful, and after doing some reading i've dialed it down to 20% feedback, otherwise it would get me tired in no time (and im not a weak person) driving with a wheel requires some adjusting, but once its done, it makes the gaming expirience way better and more involved. Cons: No out-of-the-box playing, you need to connect the wheel to a PC, download new FW, download drivers, and only than connect it to the XBOX Mine took several attempts until XBOX recognized the wheel after several hours of play wheel tends to get out of tune, need to shut everything off and restart

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far So Good So far I have had no problems with the unit responds well with Forza 5 and Horizon 2 games. Set up unit on computer and installed up dates. Set wheel rotation to 240 and is the best setting for me. Like close ratio steering. Just wish the add on wheel had the xbox one buttons. A must to be fastened down to something heavy or it will move around on you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent peripheral for all racing fans The Thrustmaster TX is an excellent racing peripheral add-on for the XBONE. The force feedback adds another layer of immersion to playing Forza Motorsport. The wheel, pedals, and base are all well made. I wished the wheel was a little bigger in diameter though. Overall, this is a must-have add-on for all racing fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the money I have had the wheel for 2+ weeks now and have put in about 8 hours but will come back to update this review should my opinion and impressions change. Any comparisons I make to another wheel will be the MS Wireless Wheel for Xbox 360 since that is the only other wheel I've owned.I picked up this wheel to replace my MS Wireless Wheel for Xbox 360 since I moved on to Xbox One (although I still have the 360). I really enjoy playing racing games and after playing Forza 5 on the Xbone with the controller it just wasn't cutting it for me. I really wanted a force feedback wheel and the only real two options are this one and the Mad Catz wheel. I did some extensive research and there seemed to be many plus and minuses for both wheels but on the surface it seemed the Mad Catz had the slight upper edge simply based on user feedback.I watched a lot of videos, mainly by Inside Sim Racing, for the Thrustmaster and after much deliberation took the plunge.I had some major concerns making this purchase because there are tons of negative reviews about units dying right out of the box so I had some concerns. When I received the wheel I noticed the box was a little dinged up and the top flap was torn a bit but everything inside looked fine. I took some pictures just in case.I proceeded to assemble the wheel and begin the firmware update. It's pretty straightforward but has many steps. I actually downloaded the user manual after the purchase and read through the update instructions prior to receiving the wheel. Out of the box my wheel had firmware version 41 and I updated to 48. I am not sure how old that makes my wheel but it has to be an early build model, which concerns me a bit.The update went very smooth and took about 30 minutes but I was very diligent about the process as I did not want to brick the wheel and have to call Thrustmaster (like it states in the manual). Now on to the game play. I have an older Playseat Evolution that I mounted the wheel to and it mounted with no issue. All the screw holes line up perfectly and the wheel feels solid on the seat. I fired up Forza 5 and off I went.I made some adjustments to the dead zones and wheel rotation in settings and began racing. The force feedback is strong with this wheel, very strong. I eventually lowered this setting and I'm still trying to find my sweet spot here. The controls are great, good feel, no lag in response. The paddle shifters work great and are made of metal; on my old wheel they were plastic.I have read some complaints about the actual wheel being cheaply made and not being leather wrapped. I don' think this takes away from the experience; it has rubber grips down the sides and the rest is plastic but it's very solid. The pedals seem solid also and provide good resistance. They are much better than my old wheel and more sensitive to variations in pressure and I have them set for no dead zone.As mentioned earlier the force feedback is really good. The vibrations give good road feel especially on the cobblestone tracks in Prague. The force feedback gives great feedback when swapping paint or dipping hard into turns. It also gives good feedback on torque steer, especially in front wheel drive cars.Every once in a while I can hear the fan kick on; it's not loud but noticeable and hopefully it does its job as intended. One of the other awesome benefits is this system is modular and offers the ability to swap out the standard two pedal set-up for a three pedal with clutch. You can also change the actual steering wheel to an F1 wheel and add a stick shift. So in my first couple of weeks with this wheel I would highly recommend it and right now give it 5-stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent FFB Wheel!! I purchased this wheel a couple of weeks ago and after driving several thousand miles with it I can say it is top notch. I have had several wheels through the years and this I by far the smoothest. It is very comparable to the T500 by thrusmaster. While the TX is not as strong as the T500 I prefer the smooth ffb and rumble over brute force. With Forza 5 it is magic very responsive and you can feel every rumble strip on the road and get a good feeling of the weight of the car. It also works with the PC as well with no issues. I have used it on iRacing and Asset to Corsa and can tell u it works flawlessly. Also it works with the T500 pedal set which I prefer over the TX stock pedals, you also can use the th8rs shifter that is already available. You do need to install a firmware update right out of the box. But this is very easy to do from thrustmasters support site. A link to this is provided in the manual for the wheel. A great purchase overall because of its versatility and ultra smooth force feedback. My only con is the stock pedal. While adequate, they do not have a clutch or adjustability. If you are on the fence I say go for it you will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Wheel on Xbox One Great feel and performance from this wheel. Really adds to the Forza MS 5 experience. No regrets purchase...would buy it again in a heartbeat. Only inconvenience was initial setup needs you to update the wheel software via a PC connected to the internet. Do wish Thrustmaster would provide a longer USB cable as I had to get an extender. Actual performance of the wheel is 5 stars.
